As tomorrow is Rememberance Sunday, the store is going to have a 2 minute silence for those who fought in the war. This will occur at 11 am, so if you do come in, please respect the silence and join in.

The silence is meant as a tribute to those who lost their lives fighting for their country - but what is the significance of that date and time? On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 the guns of Europe fell silent. After four years of bitter fighting, The Great War was finally over. Every year we continue the silence out of respect.

In addition we would be doing this on Tuesday as well, at it will be the eleventh day of the month.

Also let’s not forget to donate for poppies, and make sure you are wearing you poppies.

For Remembrance Day, which is on the 11th, we have gotten some poppies for people to get, please donate for such an amazing cause, we look forward to seeing all of our lovely customers wearing a poppy, just like our colleagues😍😍

You could either donate in the blue poppy boxes and the orange box next to the tills or self scans, lets all try to raise money for a good cause.
