We’ve had some great news to start off the year 😊 we had our 2nd inspection in December from trading standards and I’m proud to announce we have not only maintained our 5🌟 hygiene rating we also got a perfect score with not a single mark against us 🙌🙌🙌.

I can’t believe we’ve been in the shop for 5 years already 😳.
It feels like only yesterday when we started gutting the place and trying to get it looking acceptable.
I originally wanted to do hot food (particularly breakfasts) from this shop but because there is no rear entrance it was almost impossible to get permission from the council so we decided to give it a go as a general store.
We hadn’t planned on turning into a sweet shop, we just listened to what our customers wanted and it kinda just happened 😅.
We underestimated how much it costs to start a shop (even a small one like this) and I’m sure the customers who have been with us from the beginning will remember how long it took us to build up the stock 😂.
BUT…..
Thanks to those loyal customers we’ve went strength to strength and we’re still going today 🙏🙏🙏.
It is getting more and more difficult for small businesses like ours to survive with all the price increases in everything these past few years but thanks to your support we are still here 🙌.
And we will continue to do the best we can to keep the doors open and keep your sugar levels topped up 🤣🤣🤣.
