We’ve had another delivery of freeze dried candy over at our new shop Myusacandy ☺️.
It’s been super popular and our last batch sold very fast 💨 💨💨.
If you don’t know what it is here’s a brief explanation:-
Various sweets and candies are placed in a freeze drier which extracts the moisture from them, this intensifies the flavour and causes them to expand and go airy and light, a little bit like Edinburgh rock in texture.
They taste really good 👌.

There was the lovely group of Carol singers out side of Greggs this morning, it was lovely hearing them sing as I was glueing our sign above the shop 🤣.
Then we had the fantastic David Stoker singing festive songs live outside the shop, we also had balloon modelling and free tea and coffee available as well ☺️.

CALLING ALL CRAFT BEER DRINKERS!!
As some of you might have noticed we stopped selling craft beers a little while ago.
The reason for that is you all seemed to stop buying them for some reason and the sales just dropped through the floor.
These beers are quite expensive to buy in and have quite a short shelf life so it’s quite a loss when they go out of date.
I was undecided wether to get them in again as bottle shops and breweries are closing down left right and centre due to the rising cost of running expenses etc, however I love my local craft beers so we have decided to give it one last try.
So if you love your craft beers and you want to see them in your local shops then you need to buy them, otherwise they will slowly disappear and all you’ll be left with is the rubbish supermarket varieties, and non of us want that 😩.
We’ve had a couple of deliveries arrive from Wylam and Full Circle today, we’ve also placed an order with Almasty and we’ll also be getting Two by Two back in as well 🙌.

Hello again folks.
It was lovely to see so many of you joining us for free tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets for the Remembrance Day parade yesterday 🫡🫡🫡🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.
The parade passes right past our shop and we always meet our family members there to watch as they go past and it has slowly grown with more of you joining us this year 🫶.
We had a donation pot and you lovely people donated £23 in just over an hour 🙌.
We’ll be there again same time next year and we hope to see even more of you then and raise even more money 💰.
