As we prepare to close our doors in a couple of months or so, we do so with immense appreciation. Our exceptional manager Clare and her dedicated team have continued to uphold the quality service and expertise that define Rodney Densem Wines. Our Tokubetsu Honjozo is a lighter-bodied sake to which the sake master adds a small amount of alcohol prior to the filtering stage. This technique brings out the clean and savoury flavours elicited through the brewing process. Offering a longer and more robust finish, it perfectly complements a multi-course dinner.

A refreshing and aromatic liqueur made with 40% content of fresh yuzu Juice from Hyogo prefecture. Our Akashi-Tai Yuzu liqueur can be enjoyed neat to savour the clear aroma of yuzu which is highly prized in Japan.

April 17th is Malbec World Day so Septima Argentinian Malbec had to be our wine of choice for the tasting barrel today 🙂🍷
Several years ago, designated an actual date to honour the grape which found its way from France to ultimately find its most expressive home in Argentina.

Whilst on holiday in Scotland, Helen dropped into The Isle of Harris Distillery today to discover more about her favourite gin.
She says the distillery "made me feel so welcome. I loved hearing about their journey so far and the passion they all have for a venture they are all so invested in. Plus . . . .tried a few samples . . .😉"

Another week brings another welcome award!

We're very happy to hear that The Hearach single malt whisky has collected GOLD at the London Spirits Competition 2024.

This new award complements our recent gold at the Berlin International Spirits Competition last month.

Their judges noted the whisky exhibited..."light fruity notes on the nose, medium peatiness, and an appearance reminiscent of orange candy and chamomile with sweet elements. On the palate, expect butterscotch, citrus, and a hint of smoke.”

Our thanks to the distillers, blenders, and cask team for all their hard work in making this beautiful island dram.

As our friends from Three Wrens Distillery prepare for their new venture in Nantwich town centre, we've had a productive meeting to discuss the continuation of our successful working relationship.
In fact, we plan to link together even more 😃
