Come and try your hand at archery during the The Big Apple celebrations next weekend.
We’ll be on the Bartons, opposite the Hall where teas are served (venue 5), from 11am till 4pm on Saturday 12th.
You’ll get expert guidance and it’s great value - only £2 for 4 arrows!

More good news! As we now have more than 100 people signed up to our 200 Club we are going to start the monthly draws. Come along to Hellens Produce Market on Saturday morning to find out if you are a winner!

We will have the usual home made preserves, local honey, Skittery Apple Juice, plants and spring bulbs on sale as well.

We’re delighted to tell you that we have finally got planning permission to build the new community shop, Post Office and cafe. There are several conditions but nothing we can’t cope with.
The next stage is to obtain more funding. We are already researching our options and will let you know as soon as progress is made.

Anyone that came to the afternoon tea last Saturday got an idea of what it would be like to have a cafe in the village. They all enjoyed the delicious food and the chance to mingle and chat with friends, neighbours and visitors.
They were served dainty sandwiches, scones with jam and cream followed by cakes, all on vintage china.
First prize in the raffle was a watercolour of the church, won by Janey. Other prizes included bubbly, flowers, chocolates, toiletries and a range of teas.
Thank you to everyone that donated a home made cake, and to all our generous suppliers. Thanks also to our MC Jim and the hard working shop fundraising committee who made it all happen.
£531 profit has been added to the funds to build a community shop, Post Office and cafe in Much Marcle.
