About us

Padda stores is an established Family run business. Our shop is at the heart of the local community and our staff members play a key role in serving our customers with high quality products with exceptional customer service.

Padda Stores on Chemical Road in Morriston, Swansea are looking for several honest, hardworking Individuals who are friendly, energetic and passionate about giving great customer service and always willing to learn.

Come join the team as Post office / Retail Assistant on a 30 hrs basis (potentially working both weekdays and weekends).

You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to work well under pressure. The ability to work efficiently and effectively both alone as well as working in a team is also required.

The duties may include:

· Selling stamps and weighing/charging for letters, packets and parcels.

· Dealing with a range of financial services

· Paying pensions and benefits.

· Accepting payment for a wide variety of bills, such as electricity, gas and water bills.

· Renewing Car tax and dealing with motor vehicle registrations.

· Dealing with passport and driving licence applications.

· Paperwork

· Uploading Deliveries

· Ordering shop items and dealing with stock

· Working on tills

· Replenish stock

· Customer service

· Teamwork

Pay Rates:

Age 18 -20 £6.83

Age 21- 22 £9.18

Age 23 + £9.5
