Blockley Village Shop The Blockley Village Shop is a community shop owned by its 650 members. It is the largest of its kin Free wifi. A cash machine is also available.

A village shop offering a wide range of groceries, fresh fruit and veg, local produce and gifts. Post Office services are open from 9.30 -2.30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A village lottery draw takes place on the last Saturday of every month. Half the proceeds are divided in prizes and half goes to the shop.

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising quiz night. We raised an amazing £700! £350 will go to help the North Cotswold Foodbank and the other £350 will go to the Air Ambulance charity.

Don't forget our fundraising quiz night is this Saturday at St. George's Hall. Tickets can still be purchased from Blockley Shop.

Come test your knowledge and help us raise some funds for the North Cotswold Foodbank and the Air Ambulance charity.

Morning Blockley.

Now the dust has settled I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, support and donations. It's is heart warming to know how much we are appreciated.

I have been liaising with the BCA regarding repairs/security improvements and a plan is in place to make this happen. We have had to take into account and be mindful of the fact that we are in a conservation area and an area of natural outstanding beauty. We believe we have found a good solution and the BCA have kindly offered to fund this work.

Myself and the shop team have been talking about how best to use your kind donations and we think it would be best spent on a new improved cctv system and a few more additional security/prevention solutions, aswel as helping with the incurred costs associated with break-in. It's sad that we live in a world where we have to take all these measures to try stop these selfish, greedy people doing these mindless acts!

On a positive note, we are still open and we look forward to seeing you in the shop.

Just a quick reminder that we collect donations for the North Cotswold Food Bank. You can either do this by placing a donation in our food bin or popping some loose change in our collection tin. As we are all aware, times are hard for lots of people in and around our local community. Any donation big or small can make a big difference and will be gratefully received. The demand on the food bank is higher than ever before! 🐣 With Easter around the corner maybe you could donate an Easter Egg to put a smile on a young child's face this Easter?? Thank you in advance.

Our Story

A village shop offering a wide range of groceries, fresh fruit and veg, local produce and gifts. Free wifi. Paypoint has now been reinstated so bills , phone topups etc can be carried out.

Post Office services are open from 9.30 -2.30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cash back is also available via the shop on all sales over £5 (max cash-back £30) 7 days a week.

A village lottery draw takes place on the last Saturday of every month. Half the proceeds are divided in prizes and half goes to the fund-raising fund to help pay off the loan for the shop build.

The shop and cafe are also very popular places for the followers of the tv program Father Brown which is filmed outside and next door at the church , we also sell a couple of souvenirs which helps raise funds for the upkeep of the church .
