Update 2 of 2 (Tuesday)

Following the difficulties encountered yesterday, everyone who emailed the original contact address to book a Santa's Grotto slot has now been booked in and sent a booking confirmation with details, payment information, etc. This email will have come from the new email address [email protected]

If anyone emailed to book previously but hasn't now received a booking confirmation (please check spam, promotions folders etc.), then please forward your original email straight away to the new email address [email protected], and the team will do their best to accommodate you (in the 6.30-7.15 session). We don't think this applies to anyone, but just in case.

(We will update again later in the week if any slots remain for last minute booking.)

Thank you again to the Friends of School team for their ongoing hard work in dealing with this, and their support of our Christmas events for the community.

Update 1 of 2 (Monday)

There was an issue with the Santa's Grotto email account, which was discovered today following some missing emails, and so the Friends of School team are working very hard to sort everything out regarding the Grotto bookings.

Firstly, they will email out on Monday evening from a new email address to everyone who has emailed them but not had a response, to explain what has happened. Booking confirmation emails with time slots and ticket numbers will then be sent out during Tuesday evening to everyone who has booked.

If you have attempted to book a Santa's Grotto slot but don't receive a booking confirmation by the end of Tuesday, it may be that your email has not got through. We hope this is not the case for anyone. But if it is, please email the new address on Wednesday to request your ticket/slot.

(We will then update on Thursday/Friday as to whether any slots remain for last minute booking.)

Community volunteers/stewards wanted. Can you help?

Are you available to take a stint as a volunteer steward for the Christmas lights switch-on this Saturday, 30th November? We need some additional cover for Arthur Street between 3pm and 8ish to ensure that pedestrians are kept safe. It will be coned off with a turning point before it.
