I will be opening from 2pm this afternoon - important meeting beforehand so won’t be any earlier.

Loads of new arrivals - fridges are looking AWESOME! Got new Azvex, Gravity Well, Left Handed Giant, Neon Raptor plus the Valentine Beers from Vault City.

A tropical delight from Glasshouse on Tap 3, a Gold Top DIPA from Track on Tap 7 and Iron Brew Export from Vault City on Tap 8. We can easily drown Dry January with these amazing beers.

is back with a vengeance this week.
Today is officially known as "Blue Monday" and it is said to be the most depressing day of the year (of course it is, The Wynd Craft Beers is still closed!!).
So the theme for this week is Shades of Blue, so I want songs titles or band/artist names with said theme in them, please. There are multitudes of options here : baby, powder, navy, light, dark etc etc. Check out Wikipedia if you need some assistance.

I'm open tomorrow evening for Silent Reading Club and then back open to the general public from 12pm on Wednesday. Yay!!

What a night! It was a magical muscial journey into troubadour bohemia …

Thank you so much to Gabriel Moreno, Richard Moore, Juan Mauro and Glad Town Ghost for your outstanding musicianship last night.

Gabriel has left a vinyl copy of his album Wound In The Night, if anyone didnt manage to grab any merch - £20 and it’s yours. Speak to me if you’d like to buy it.

Fingers crossed we can come to a mutually agreeable date in April for them to return.

Back to boring old normality today - open til 6pm.

Welcome to 2025! And welcome back to normality …
Silent Reading starts again next Tuesday and I think we’re all ready for it. As usual, arrive 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Hours as normal this weekend - 12pm to 9pm today and tomorrow, and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.

TODAY!!

The Quiz will begin at 5pm, prompt, so make sure you give yourselves plenty of time to grab a drink or two and get settled. The front door will be closed and latched to avoid disturbances and the bar will be closed for the duration of the quiz so stock up on your beverages beforehand.
All tables are reserved, but there are stools and I may bring out the benches (if necessary).

In honour of our very own Jacqui Harrison (whose birthday it is tomorrow), I will be playing songs all day that begin with the letters J and H. Playlist will stop for the quiz, then continue after.

Hoppy Christmas Everyone!!!

Open today until 9pm-ish for your last minute gifts (vouchers/gift boxes available) or celebratory drinks. Delivery arrived yesterday so the fridges are looking a bit healthier!!

I’m closed tomorrow and Thursday but will be back open on Friday from 12pm.

It’s CAROL-OKE time and to kick things off, here’s a sneek peek of one of the new songs that’ll be included tonight 🤣🤣

We’re going to do an improvised raffle this evening too (always last minute!) for a bottle of champagne or a £20 voucher for you know where 😉. £2 per number (cash only please, so come prepared) and any money raised will be going to the Huntington Disease charity supported by our lovely regular Jacqui Harrison.

So, we’re back with a bang!! And this is what we’ve got lined up over the Christmas Festive Period.
Sunday 22nd sees the return of our Carol-oke - the traditional group sing-a-long to old and new favourites. Starts at 5pm but best get in early to nab a seat (two tables already reserved).
In the Chrimbo Limbo, we have our returning Superstar DJ’s Paul and Mandy on Saturday 28th, playing an monster 5 hour set, beginning at 5pm.
And on Sunday 29th, we’ve got the BIG FAT QUIZ OF THE YEAR! There will be music, there will be general knowledge, there will be pictures! Our previous quizzes have proved very popular so this one will round off the last weekend of 2024 in epic style.

A reminder that I’ll be closed Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of both the Christmas and New Year week (so 23rd, 25th, 26th, 30th, 1st and 2nd).
