🐶 A Quiet Word About Noisy Dogs…

We’re happy to have well-behaved dogs in our taproom and beer garden, but if your pup is making a racket, please be considerate and continue on your walk. Some people aren’t dog lovers, some people can get scared and anxious with loud sudden noises and everyone, including our neighbours, deserves a bit of peace and quiet.

Please keep dogs on leads on site, and if a member of the team asks you to move along due to noise, please don’t take it personally—it’s just about keeping the space enjoyable for everyone. Cheers! 🍺

😅 Good news and bad news! Unfortunately The Little Sri Lankan have cancel this weekend's pop up at the tap due to motor vehicle issues, we're sorry to hear that and hope this is resolved shortly!

However, we are really grateful to our pals 🇬🇷 Taka Taka Mam who are heroically stepping up to bring us their delicious Greek gyros, kebabs, salads, tzatziki and halloumi fries. We think this tzatziki (and a pint of our fresh Pils) should be served with every meal! Catch them at ours on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon.

~ EDIT ~ We now have food Friday 3.30-8.30pm. Very local, very new, very exciting, watch this space! 👀

Opportunities for experienced bartenders + baristas, glass collectors / bar backs (16 yrs+) and a morning cleaner role available now!

Must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and keep cool in a fast-paced environment. Be enthusiastic, friendly, polite, flexible and available to work weekends. In return we offer pay above Living Wage, pension and bonus schemes, free drinks, generous staff discount and a great vibe!

❤️🥐 We had a great first day early brunch opening at the tap, thanks for showing up for us! We had loads more customers than we were expecting, which was brilliant! ❤️

However the bad news is we’ve completely sold out of the fresh Roger's Bakery pastries that we intended to hold back for Sunday! 🙈 Sorry if you were looking forward to one!

We will get some other pastries in from ~somewhere~ for Sunday service, and we’ll double up on the good stuff for next weekend now we know how many to expect!

🎉 Thanks to everyone who came down to our birthday bash at the tap yesterday, and for all your lovely messages!

Our new bigger taproom opened three years ago! 🤯 But we’ve been around for a bit longer than that! We first popped with the little plywood bar for Marsden Jazz Festival in 2017, maybe before, not entirely sure!

Since then we’ve done 🏡 window kiosk service, essential local delivery and rainy outdoors-only QR table service through the pandemic, and built the second green bar, before knocking through to make the BIG TAP which opened at the end of Feb 2022.

We’ve come a long way, and it certainly has not been plain sailing, but we’re still here thanks to our faithful customers and hardworking team! We love you! ❤️😅
