Own up, who pulled a sickie today? 🙃

If you did, you're probably not alone. Today is National Sickie Day - the day you're most likely to call in sick to work in need of a break or a rest from the stresses of day-to-day life.

Early February is marked as the time when most New Year's Resolutions are starting to fade and the Christmas holidays feel a distant memory.

Today is National Backwards Day and we're doing things a little differently today to raise awareness of others who may not be as fortunate as us.

We're doing it to raise money for Solent Mind which does amazing work locally to help people living with mental health issues. If you live in Hampshire and you need some support you can reach out to Solent Mind for free. You can also head to their website to access free toolkits to keep yourself feeling well.

Today is National Backwards Day, which encourages everyone to do things a little differently today and raise awareness of others who live different lives to our own.

To mark the day, our colleagues are wearing their pyjamas to work for the day and raising money for Solent Mind - a fantastic local resource if you're feeling like you might need a little help or support.

For the next two weeks, from 4th – 15th September, our fantastic suppliers at COOK have agreed to give away seven two-portion meals to one lucky winner. COOK creates home-cooked comfort meals that are hand-prepared by chefs and then frozen – so that all you have to do to cook a delicious meal is open the freezer and choose something that will go straight in the oven. If no fuss, no planning, no prepping and no washing up doesn’t sound like the best idea since sliced chicken and ham pie, we don’t know what does!
