Day Deux complète. Wow that was a proper tough slog. Lots of rain lots of strong head winds. Some beautiful country roads virtually empty. Stop over today is a great little town called La Flèche, have a google. Anyways I need to eat and sleep and apply cream to places cream has never been before

And I’m off! Heading to the Ferry to start my little bike ride across France. Starting in Caen and over the next 14 days I’ll be heading south through rural France, passing through Le Mans, Loire, Auvergne, Rhone, over Mont Ventoux, through the Gorge of Verdon and hopefully in to Nice for a much needed wollow in the Med. 🇫🇷🚴🍷🍾🧀🥖🧄. I’d love to use this opportunity to try and raise a few quid for a couple of charities I hold quite close. Guide Dogs for the Blind and Motor Neurone Disease Association. We’d be super grateful for any support no matter how big or small. There’s a few ways of doing this. There’s two Just Giving links at the end of this story, or if you’re in the Stores you can “Buy” Nick a Pint ( no pint will change hands!) Alternatively you can actually buy one of our new soft drinks ChariTea or LemonAid. All sales of these new softs and all “pints for Nick” bought over the next two weeks will be donated to these wonderful charities. Any help is greatly appreciated.
