An early start back at our HQ this morning getting the spirit made before the temperature rises

We will be expecting a delivery of our Celtic Malt Spirit to the shop later today ( available in the shop tomorrow).

So what is Celtic Malt Spirit?

Our Malt Spirit is a blend of carefully chosen Scotch Whiskies blended together at our premises & re-distilled. The additional distillation enables us to make further cuts & focus on the hearts of the spirit ( the good bit ). When the process has finished the abv is approximately 65% so we cut it back with water to our final abv of 43%. As there’s no ageing required due to us already encapsulating the flavour profile that we want, the whisky is crystal clear just like a Vodka as it’s comes from the still.
Make no mistake, this is full on Whisky aroma & flavour, just without the colour.
No sugars, no additives, just good quality spirit.

An exciting new brand created by us.

COFUILA is a beautiful infusion of Tequila imported from Jalisco in Mexico & Arabica Coffee Beans from Brazil.
First of all, we carefully chose 2 Tequilas, 1 from Blue Agave & 1 from Agave to create our unique blend. Then we add the Arabica Coffee Beans and leave them to colour & flavour the Tequila.
Once we’ve achieved the desired flavour we carefully add an agave syrup to create the necessary sweetness to balance out the bitterness from the Coffee Beans.
The final result is a wonderful Tequila, smooth & flavoursome. Ideal as a sipper over ice.

We’ve also created a COFUILA Cream Liqueur option for those that like Baileys & our Celtic Cream Liqueurs ( other brands are available )

Finally we’re creating a Baby COFUILA, our interpretation of the cocktail Baby Guiness. This product will be beautifully packaged in 2 separate stacking bottles.

Well, it’s official.
It’s been a lengthy process but we can now say
“we’re open for business”

This will be our actual first weekend of trading in our little distillery shop selling a range of alcoholic drinks that we make ourselves.

Unfortunately we have been let down for the signage above the shop window, so we have made alternate arrangements.
There will be signage as of next week.

After careful consideration regarding opening hours & commitments we have decided to open the shop Wednesday - Sunday from 1030am.

Good Morning All, today is my last day of our soft launch. I will be open around 1030.

Well, it’s been a valuable learning curve this weekend, gathering feedback on our flavours, judging the best opening hours, talking to new & potential customers, promoting the business. So much information to take back to our distillery tomorrow( Celtic Artisan Spirits -Pour Intentions Micro Distillery )
Needless to say that we will be busy getting the large bottles ready for my next visit. There will also be a few more flavours to bring for you to try.
