Plenty of brewing going down at the moment as we (try!) to build stock for the summer season before we decommission the old brewhouse and install the new one!

Mike is putting in one enormous month or 2 to get plenty of fresh beer ready for you to enjoy.

It’s not as simple as just closing down the production for a few weeks and installing the new kit!

We will bring you plenty of updates in the coming weeks on how it’s all going and some insights into the new kit and how it works! First up will be the install of the new fermenters and our new CIP system.

We’re thrilled to officially announce our South West award winning beers - presented to us last week

Lyme Gold was awarded Gold in the Cask Session Pale Ale Category

Black Ven also won a Gold in the Cask British Dark Beer Category

and Dorset Pearl picked up a Silver in the Keg Session Pale Ale Category

We’re super proud of this and in particular Mike’s efforts to revamp these recipes.

It’s been quite some week here at Lyme Regis Brewery

We’ve taken delivery of our new steam powered brewhouse. 6 months of planning, 12,000 miles and 61 days at sea , 2 shipping containers and a lot of excitement comes to fruition.

5 years ago we couldn’t have imagined making this much beer for the people and visitors of Lyme Regis.

Our next chapter is now here! Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Our brewing journey has been a blast so far and we’re excited to continue it now with you as we document the install of the new kit.

Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks as we guide you through the setup and how it will help us become more efficient and increase our capacity.

Octoberfest ‘23 update 🤟 super stoked to announce Saturday 21st support band Leonian Dream. Leonian Dream started out as a solo project by front singer / songwriter Leonie Prater. It has always been her dream to form a band and in 2022 this
dream came true. Since then the four piece band have been writing original
songs together and are currently working on their debut EP. They are
blending genres such as Indie- Rock and Indie - Folk.
For fans of Wolf Alice, Jade Bird and Annie Hamilton. Looking forward to seeing you guys there 🎶🍻🌭

They are going to bring their unique blend of groove, boogie, and soul to the stage over to us in Lyme Regis. This week we’ve canned another 6,500 cans ready for the summer holidays. Some were being sold and consumed within just a few hours of being packaged. Some super fresh beers heading your way!

We’ve got more plans to increase our fermentation capacity this autumn by another 3,500 litres just to keep up with the current demand.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support through the past 4 difficult years. It means the world to us and the whole team here at Lyme Regis Brewery.

This beer is about celebrating three things.

1. The inspirational Mary Anning
2. The work of Mary Anning Rocks who we owe a heap of gratitude for the incredible work they do to highlight the legacy of Mary Anning.
3. Our wonderful home town. This is the first of our community brews aimed at highlighting the unique and vibrant community who make Lyme Regis what it is.

This sea monster of a beer is loaded with Citra, Ekuanot, Idaho 7 and Sabro hops in the boil, flame out and post fermentation. It’s juicy in colour and taste and oozes tropical notes and flavour.

We want to thank the incredible support of and their talented illustrator for bringing our vision to life.
