Folks. Although nothing to do with us any more,
Had a call from Raj , and someone threw a 3 litre bottle of white spirit over the back fence last night lighting it before throwing it. It set the pallets and wood on fire . Just lucky they were still there and the boys put it out 😢
Very upsetting as two tenants live upstairs and they could have been seriously compromised Anyone see anything between 8.30 pm and 9.00 pm last night (Tuesday 17th) please contact Raj in the shop so he can pass info to the police .
Police have taken evidence away but just shocked this could happen in camber .

Good afternoon all.
As of tomorrow we will be open again until 6.30pm.
Our shielding staff are now back with us. 👍
Fresh bread and cakes (baked in rye ) every Tuesday and Friday for now.

First day of the year hot ( after a terrible time last few months ) and we got robbed.
Followed the car . They parked. Called police . AS ALWAY NOT BOTHERED .
(Even though we told em we suspected drink driving) . 2 hours on x Brian and I confronted them. Lots of the group drunk , confronting us calling Brian bald c**t (very aggressive ) Speaking to me how big his friends P***s was. Scary. Thank u Lady in car park x Thank u coast guards . Shame police
We put ourself in danger, but what do we do ?
Never in 15 years of having the shop have the police helped us.
Lucky one of the group got a friend to transfer him money to pay for the theft).
Saw a police bike go up road and a police car on way back home. ( after we sorted ) So where was u ? Why couldn’t u of helped us .
Feeling lost right now . Scary day for us .

I’m sorry to have to tell you all , the lovely Carole ,( who has been shielding since March) has sadly lost her fight with COVID and passed away at 6am this morning.
Our thoughts go out to all her family at this time x
I have been asked to share this sad news by her family.
She was a funny ,bubbly member of our Team and a Camber resident and will be missed very much.

Happy new year to u all.
Our fresh bread deliveries will resume this Saturday.
Have a lovely selection of bread, rolls and cakes being delivered fresh from Rye.
For January we will have deliveries Saturday and Tuesday .
Order’s can be taken but need to know Friday (before 3pm)for Saturday and Monday (before 3pm)for Tuesday .
Remember we also can offer a home delivery service and have lots of things in store. Camber only ( as trying to do them on a bike) .
If you place your order by phone/text 07875608116 , We will let you know the price and we can accept payment via PayPal or cash in a envelope on delivery.
We can get most things ( fresh fruit and veg etc) but are limiting our visits to wholesaler @ this time for obvious reason’s , so may take a few days to get to you.
Also should mention ( due to shielding) we will be closing at 4.30pm until further notice.

Morning.
Just to let u know orders for Christmas Eve (fresh bread and cakes) need to be before 22nd December.
They will then be delivered fresh to the shop early on 24th December.
We have some frozen turkey crowns priced at £15.00 each .

Locally sourced bacon, ham and sausage from u r local shop.

We are pleased to tell you we will once again be offering Fresh Rolls and Bread.
We are now being supplied by a local company in Rye.
Our first delivery will be this Saturday.
We will have a selection of Bread and rolls plus some lovely cakes.
Once again we have teamed up with a local company to bring things to Camber for your convenience .
Going forward we can take orders if there are specific things you would like us to get.

Good news .
We have meat again from Lydd Butchers.
This week we have some of your favourite marinades , Bbq, Garlic butter, Piri Piri for chicken also Minted and plain lamb.
Whole chickens.

Please note we have amended our opening hours for the time being.
7.30am. - 5pm. Monday - Saturday.
7.30am. - 4pm Sunday.
We hope this will still give you enough time to get your essential items and keep yourselves and our staff safe.
We are now gonna try to offer free delivery to those in Camber who have been advised not to leave their home.
We have set up a paypal account and are asking you text 07875-608116 to place your order along with your name and home address.
We will get the order together with the cost ( subject to availability ).
We will text this amount and ask you to pay via our paypal account.

Once this is done we will deliver contact free to your home. (Might not be on the same day but will be as soon as we can). Will text to say delivery day and ring or knock and walk away.

We have already delivered to locals whose relatives have set this up for them as they don’t have PayPal and don’t live near them.

Hello all . Please follow guide lines and stay safe x My mum is 76 ( Happy Mother’s Day to the most wonderful mum ) and people local to her are being very kind and looking out for her ( offering to do shopping etc) .
We want to look out for u all x
Hard because a lot of the older villagers are not on social media . But it’s a small place . spread the word “not the germs” .
Trying our very best and have agreed to assist a scheme who will identify elderly and vulnerable Camber residents.
Also we have a supply of toilet rolls ( should u actually b on u r last ) that I will give away free to our most needy until they run out x These are multi packs from Booker that we have managed to get.
Spoke to local egg supplier today who said he will bring extra eggs but may not have boxes so maybe save u r boxes for now just incase.
All our fridge and freezer handles , door handles and baskets etc are being sprayed constantly .
Our staff have been amazing x love u guys x
We are limiting how many of some things u can buy for now. We can only get so much so let’s be fair .
To the person who tried to buy 20 bottles of lucazade yesterday and after being told only 4 got verbally abusive . Please be fair .

Morning all.
We have been working hard to source most of our regular stock.
Thank you for supporting us at this time.
We will be limiting some item’s as we want to ensure we serve as many as we can.
Also our price marked stock is the price you will pay ( saying this because I’ve heard online that some shop’s have been charging more for these item’s).
We are working with our lovely staff to try to offer a delivery service for those in Camber who cannot leave their homes.
