Save the date! On his festive trip home to California, Ray's been stocking up on some incredibly fresh, exciting local beers that he can't wait to crack open in our Putney store on Tuesday January 21st.

Today marks eight years of Ghost Whale!

This business was born from a growing passion for craft beer that developed from travelling and playing in bands back in 2016. Whilst a clear idea was formed about what Ghost Whale would be, there was an extremely sharp learning curve and my love of great beer accelerated rapidly, discovering more beers and styles than I knew possible.

The most rewarding and humbling part of what Ghost Whale is today, though, is the people. Both the wonderful team of staff that I've been privileged to work with over the years and you, our amazing customers, a great many of whom I'm able to call friends.

Ghost Whale has brought countless people together, created friendships and forged relationships on a scale that I didn't consider possible when I opened the doors eight years ago. That is the achievement I'm most proud of.

So tonight, at our Brixton store, we're having a party to celebrate eight years of great beer and new friendships and you're all invited. As usual I've pulled together a killer line up of draft beer with 20% off for the night!

Right in time for tomorrow's birthday celebrations comes an otherworldly delivery from Mälmo's Elmeleven!

Two silly Sours, one of which is the latest from their whimsical PULP series, pairs an outrageous set of Stouts -- one a barrel aged blend with Norway's Lervig and one a coconut cream based caramel & fudge monster.

We'll be *attempting to* pour the latter Stout in Brixton from open tomorrow, join us!
