Our Summer Bash Tasting Party.

This year Summer Bash party is accompanied by vinyl DJ music played by a group of friends including Ben, Errol, Andras and Spencer.

Which beer this time:

Three breweries out of those we love the most.

Representing 3 different styles they are super good on it (except Polly's which does amazing New England style hoppy beer you can often enjoy at Jars).

BEAK (Lewes, England) SEPPY - big TRIPLE 10% ABV IPA brewed in collab with Tripping Animals (Miami) for BEAK annual These Hills Festival. Superiorly thick and juicy hop smoothie with flavours of peach , passionfruit, guava following by pine sap at the end.

VAULT CITY (Edinburgh, Scotland) Strawberry Supernova ridiculous 10.5% ABV strawberry sour packed with tons of Strawberries - it's a strawberry season!

POLLY'S (Mold, Wales) Black Brook Imperial stout brewed to impressive 14.5% ABV, barrel aged in Welsh Whisky barrels formerly aging Madeira Sherry and Bourbon super rich and indulgent drink. Expect layers of taste and joy.

Served in 1/3 each.

Despite we are much more established as a craft beer place, we still offer good wine selection - by glass, bottles, or flip top 1L bottles (£1 deposit) to refill organic white or red.

Using refill bottles is a real way to cut off the waste while still enjoying great wine.

Also, the same 1L bottles are available for cider takeaway.

Dear friends,

The year 2022 was so awkward and difficult, especially for us, connected to both Ukraine and Russia, but anyway we made it through, and we would like to thank you all! All our local supporters and friends for the moments of happiness and great times together.

Also special thanks to those who helped us buying beautiful Drunk Glasses collection to fundraise money for people of Ukraine and enjoying great British craft beer and our authentic craft infusions.

This is our signature Sour Cherry Negroni. We will be happy to serve you if you pop in by midnight to raise the glass and say goodbye to awkward 2022 and so hopefully Happy New 2023! Or you can swap it for a glass of Prosecco if you fancy some fizz.

BEER & PIZZA SATURDAY - COOK FOR UKRAINE 💙💛

This Saturday, 23 April, Roman (one of our co-founders) is running the service on his Birthday with some awesome beers on tap. Expect super fresh New England IPAs from Pressure Drop , Cloudwater's hoppy siblings Happy! and Super Happy!, Howling Hops 10th anniversary NEIPA and a line of shiny, cloudy IPAs by Polly’s .

Our friend and supporter Sourdough magician Rene Sturgar of will join us to make the day extra special. We will offer some of his long-fermented pizzas 🍕 , vegan and regular sourdough margaritas on a PAY AS YOU CAN basis 🔥

This way all of us will be able to be a part of a good cause further supporting the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine 🇺🇦 . We continue helping people doing crucial things on the ground in Kyiv and Chernihiv, a historical town in the North, severely affected by months of bombing and shelling. In one of our previous posts, we wrote how we raise money through selling Fomichov brother's glasses and we definitely want to do more.

All proceeds from pizza sales will go to support people in Ukraine.

Our Story

My name is Nikita and I'm a founder of Jars Bar. I started distilling and making vodka infusions back in 2016. I took Bartending course at London Bar School and discovered my extreme passion for drinks and mixology. This was followed by months of planning and funds bootstrapping. Finally, my big dream is here and operational thanks to great support from friends and family as well as my co-founder Roman. He is also a drink enthusiast who enjoys experiments.

We are an authentic bar offering signature cocktails and craft spirits, including our own gin and vodka infusions. Deigned in industrial style Jars Bar is located in 1835 restored brick arch right next to the Deptford station. We also offer classic cocktails, craft beer and wine. Enjoy your drinks in or outdoors.
