Join us tomorrow from 12 for a very special free walk-in tasting celebrating Californian wines - we’ll have EIGHT (!!) on tasting, from some of the greatest producers in the region.

The wines of California have always been popular at Uncorked - after France and Italy, our selection of wines from the Golden State is one of the largest parts of our range. We love them for their generosity of flavour, and for their sheer drinkability, but most of all we love their diversity. With thousands of small producers spread over 700 miles from north to south, on terrain ranging from deserts to mountains to the windswept coast, America’s third-largest state produces a staggeringly diverse array of different styles of wine.

In this bumper tasting we’ll be showing no less than eight wines in an effort to explore some of this incredible diversity. Wines will be open from 12 until 6pm - we hope to see you there!

With the weather rewarding a more complex, contemplative and grippy drop, we reckon it’s Barolo season - so this week, you can get £10 off any two bottles of Barolo in the shop. Drop in on Thursday afternoon to try some particularly special examples from the range - we’ll be pouring from midday to 6pm!

Calling all Riesling fans! Every Thursday, we open wines for a free drop-in tasting in the shop - tomorrow we’ll be tasting SIX Rieslings from Dönnhoff’s 2022 range.

Dönnhoff are one of Germany’s greatest wine estates. Cornelius Dönnhoff’s careful winemaking consistently produces wines of real precision and clarity at humane prices.

Each of these wines are part of a special mixed case offer containing three bone dry wines (including a GG!), and three wines in off-dry styles (including a Spätlese from the Nahe’s top vineyard).

We’ll be opening the wines at 12 on Thursday and pouring all afternoon - check out the link in our bio to learn more, or just pop in, take advantage of our outrageous generosity, and find out what makes Dönnhoff such a treasured producer!
