Thanks again to everyone who came to our Yule Party. Because of you Overdrive Studios are able to stay open another month.

We took £426 on the door. (Thanks to Vaat and Sabine of Tantrum Zentrum). Overdrive had an unexpected £400 bill turn up that they had to find the money for after Christmas, on top of their rent -which has increased and their covid rates relief repayments - every month is hand to mouth as to whether it can all be covered.

But because you heeded the genuine concern that this could have been Overdrive's last hoorah - it wasnt.

But NONE of our DIY spaces (studios/venues/radio stations/free festivals) are safe they are all hoping they make it from month to month, so please do support them - it makes the difference.

Here's what Overdrive had to say:
