Specialising in the ancestral traditions of wine making, these wines are exceptional examples of Qvevri Wine, approachable, bursting with flavour and personality. The Rkatsiteli Qvevri is a great way to get into classic Amber (orange) wines, while the Saperavi Qvevri was a firm favourite of at the recent Judgement of London at the London Wine Fair!

this week in Chiswick, Chateau La Prade!
Ideally placed in the Cote de Francs, Chateau La Prade is a fantastic example of amazing value and quality! When Nicolas Thienpont acquired the estate in 2000, he wasted no time in exploiting the vineyards' unique "astéries" limestone soil, and expanded the vine density from 5,500 to 6,500 vines per hectare, with vines averaging 40 years old!
Bursting with dark notes of cocoa and truffle, alongside dusty red berries and black raspberries, this is a delicious red to accompany a perfect Sunday roast!

We are going to open red. A well kept french from just Near and . Here we have a red that is well discounted. Rising to cru level, there is and intensity along with fat fruit. A noir under £30 in the region is quite rare these days! We will open the bottle just after 2pm in your Chiswick branch this Friday!
