This shop was everything we wanted it to be. It brought people together to have a chat over really great beer. We couldn’t of asked for more!

This one’s not an easy post to write, but we’re sorry to say we’re shutting up shop.

We’ll be closing our doors on 18th June if you want to pop in for one last beer and a chat.

Since we opened back in the lockdown, we’ve had the most unreal time. We started this shop with zero experience, just a lot of love for craft beer, natural wine and fancy cider, and we wanted to share that love with Crouch End.

For us, chatting with you guys about the amazing drinks we stock all day was what it was all about, so we feel like we’ve achieved everything we set out to do. And we’ve loved every minute of it!

We’re still Crouch End locals, so you’ll be seeing us for a drink in our usual favourites

We want to say a huge thank you to all the breweries, suppliers and incredible customers who have supported us through one hell of a journey. We love you!

We are delighted to be a launch partner for this pretty amazing Brave Noise beer.

Brave Noise is a global collaborative effort to provide inclusive and safe environments for women,BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ throughout the beer industry. By brewing Brave Noise, breweries are standing in solidarity with those who shared their stories about mistreatment and who are survivors of gender discrimination, racism, sexual assault, and harassment within the industry.

Funds raised from the sale of Brave Noise beer will go to train Wellness Officers in First aid, basic crisis management/ conflict resolution and sensitivity awareness. The overall aim is to have Wellness Officers present at every Craft Beer and Brewing Industry event Nationwide.

So, by purchasing Brave Noise you’re helping to make a difference and drive change in the beer industry. Cheers to that 🍻

Two new amazing sharers on the shelves from Barcelona-based brewery

Beets uses organic farmed beetroot and is sour, fruit my with an incredible balanced earthiness. We reaaaaally love it and can honestly say we’ve never tried anything like it.

Fresita is a saison aged for 2 months on organic whole strawberries. It’s tar, funky and super refreshing. Another big win.

Both are really limited in stock so grab while you can!

Back from our trip to the Alps, so seems like fate that we’d stumble across an amazing blonde made with 17 herbs that go into Chartreuse. It’s a bangerrrrrr.

The same producer also made a wine/beer crossover, aged in vin jaune barrels. Unreal.

Then we get to Sons of Wine. A skin contact Sylvaner and a Gamay that’ll take you to your happy place 🥰

We’re going on our first holiday in two years!

So for next week only we’ll be closed Tuesday and Wednesday and pausing deliveries. Dave the Frenchie will also be taking a break from the shop… that might be an improvement to service though.
