Butler’s Gin est. 2012 is a British, craft spirit produced in Hackney Wick, East London. A smooth yet refreshing aroma of juniper, lemongrass, cardamom and citrus notes, Butler’s Gin has a light, crisp character which is set to become the drink of choice for the cognoscenti, bringing something extraordinary to every occasion. A designer, brand developer and lifelong gin obsessive, Ross spends much

of his time on his speedboat Fletcher, enjoying the secret waterways of London, It was on Fletcher, whilst moored in London's Docklands one summer, that The Butler developed his first batch of gin. This small personal venture swiftly grew as friends and acquaintances tasted its delectable aroma. Originally inspired by a Victorian recipe, The gin is created using a tecnique through rotary evaporating that brings out the purist of aromas from the blend of botanicals before each bottle is then signed by The Butler personally to ensure the highest quality. The light green-meets-yellow tint is achieved by the Butler’s addition of lemongrass and cardamom - a unique blend that aromatherapists consider both refreshment and a relaxant. Ingredients are organically sourced, and every stage of production and craftsmanship has been researched to ensure The Butler’s Gin is sustainable and kind to the environment. The Butler’s Gin is best served cold with cucumber to garnish. If you desire a taste please arrange a meeting with The Butler or request an invitation to one of his private gin tastings, which take place every Friday at a secret location in London’s East End. But now we’re looking to grow our local footprint in Hackney, and we’re searching for a teammate who can help us accomplish this. The ideal candidate will know how to build a creative community engagement project from scratch that builds brand awareness and interest with local gin lovers. The sky is the limit – we’re looking for someone with creativity and ambition who can leverage events, social media, and digital advertising to make Butler’s Gin known across Hackney.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Make Butler’s Gin an embedded part of the drinks culture in Hackney

✅ Curate an engaging online presence for Butler’s Gin Facebook and Instagram Handles through digital posting and community engagement

✅ Foster and build relationships with pubs, breweries, and local gin lovers in Hackney through digital community outreach and excellent event organisation

✅ Help optimise website sales through working in lockstep with the digital marketing team

✅ Build a strategy that lets the local gin lovers know we're here :)

For the community engagement, think tastings, supper clubs, brassy candle lit jazz Sundays, Pour Your Own parties, market stalls, and Christmas Markets. Your creativity is the only limit.

For digital, think insta reels, Facebook vids, cocktail hampers, gin lovers clubs, and premium gift packaging—the more ideas the better.

🌈The company has a busy beautiful production space and lots of colourful humans and dogs individually offering their own skill set that creates a happy place to help you shine at what you do best.🌈

We're flexible early birds here at Butler’s 🐦 You’re expected in the office 8am -2pm, but you have flexibility to work where and when suits you best outside of this.

💥All you need is a colourful background of food and drink, knowledge of driving targeted outreach and community engagement, the basics of how to organise a successful event, and a history of being reliable. 💥💯

Pro-Rata @ 40hrs PW with annual salary 25-30k with annual increase
