Marathon Eryri 2023 done and dusted so grateful to all I ran with, having not been able to run for last 8 weeks hardly walk this year was always going to be a challenge but lovely friendly runners lots of 100 club members to spend time with some new mostly old friends my day went well ,so dry under foot 🌞 .

So Margaret 26th eryri and 120th Marathon.

And myself 25th eryri and 190th Marathon.

To the Marathon Eryri organisers a huge thank you for a great event .

10 years ago today my lovely dad passed away not one day has gone by without I think about him ,but like many people we grieve for it was his time and he went gentle in my arms at home with family around him as we all hope for,sadly not all get ,,big hugs dad,,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday I set out to run the Battle of the Borders marathon 1 mile in back started playing up 2 miles and all I could do was walk so took the 10k route back to start as was shortest way,last mile much of which is very challenging ground really tested my resolve to move at all took me an hour for that mile.

Reason for post is to thank all the people who gave me support and encouragement ,if only one of those people see this Thank you,Thank you so much ,your true human compassion filled my heart with so much strength ,and finally our surgery who organised strong medication so swiftly .

To Margaret who gave up her chance of running two laps ❤️❤️❤️❤️💐💐💐.
