📢 BIG SAVINGS on Red Wines – Prices Held Until 17th Feb! 🍷💰

Changes to UK wine duty are coming from 1st February 2025, meaning higher duty on most wines. Full-bodied reds like Shiraz, Malbec, Barolo and other heftier wines will unfortunately see a substantial increase in price.

For example, a 14.5% ABV bottle will see duty rise from £2.67 to £3.21 – and that’s before anything else is factored in!

But here’s the good news: We’re holding our prices until Monday, 17th February! 🚨

What a cracking day we had last Saturday for the Bodegas Riojanas tasting! 🍷 A massive thank you to everyone who popped in despite the grim weather—it was great to see so many familiar (and new) faces enjoying some top-notch Rioja Wine.

Huge shoutout to Dave Roles, who was absolutely on fire! His knowledge about Rioja and the stories behind the Monte Real and Puerta Vieja wines had everyone hooked—there’s nothing like hearing it straight from someone who knows the wines inside out.

Honestly, it’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do.
Cheers to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant day. 🥂

Not every day you come across wines like these at prices that are this good, but here we are! We have a few cases of Chablis and Brouilly left at our shop at a seriously good price!

Now, let me tell you, these are bin ends – once they’re gone, they’re gone for a while (or maybe forever). That’s the downside. But the upside? You’re getting cracking French wines at prices that make you feel a bit smug when you pour a glass.

The Chablis is a beauty – crisp, clean, and elegant as they come. Perfect with seafood, roast chicken, or just sipping while pretending you’re in Burgundy.

The Brouilly? A proper gem from Beaujolais. Juicy red fruits, a bit of peach, and a finish that just keeps going. It’s your go-to for charcuterie, stews, or anything involving cheese.

Made from 100% Tempranillo, it is crafted from the fruitiest vines of Bodegas Vallemayor’s vineyards.
