We’ve listened to feedback from customers in regards to the post office closing at 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and understand the inconvenience this has caused some people! Thanks to the star that is 🌟 Peter Wilks 🌟 kindly offering to cover some extra counter hours on these days we will now be opening until 5pm instead of 3pm. Good egg he is 👍👍👍

The Post Office counter will not open until 230pm on Monday 17th April. We are having works carried out on the broadband to the shop. Parcel collections will still be available as will the shop 👍

Unfortunately our Post Office is closed as there’s a problem with the base unit used for carrying out transactions. This should be replaced at some point today but I can’t give a time so will update accordingly!

Good evening people of Little Sutton. As most of you will know Great Sutton’s Post Office has closed which has caused an increase of Post Office custom at our branch. After noticing of late an increase of people waking in to use the shop and walking out because of the post office queue I’d like to note that between 1030 and 3 (which is the busiest time of day) we have a dedicated retail assistant on duty to cover the shop till most days so your time should not be affected. if in the case there is only one staff member in the shop the retail counter will always take priority. I’d also like to point out the PO counter is also open until 7pm Monday-Thursday and 9pm on a Friday so please make use of these extended hours. I’m not trying to preach but if you don’t use the retail the Post Office won’t stay as this is what covers it’s running costs, rents wages etc and I’m sure you will agree as the only PO between overpool and hope farm this is not a service the community can lose. Please support your local independent shop and do bare with us during busier times. As a small independent buisness we value each and every one of our customers and with out you we wouldnt be able to provide the services we do 👍
