Dundory runs in the 3 03 at Newcastle tomorrow, a 1m 2f 0-62 handicap. Aiden Brookes rides

He has failed to get competitive in his three starts for the yard, including last time at Newcastle in a 1m 2f contest. His mark continues to tumble racing off 52, 18lb below his last winning mark. He will need to improve on his recent form to get competitive tomorrow.

We will not head to Ayr today as we were snowed in on Sunday and the road were just to risky at 6am to leave. Horse & Staff welfare must come first 🚙⛷️☃️

Magnolia also runs in the 3 10 at Ayr today, the 2m 0-110 handicap hurdle. Brian Hughes rides

She finished down the field on her stable debut last time out in a 2m hurdle at Kelso on soft ground, after 166 days off. She would have needed that run so we hope she can step forward on that run. She is another horse who won’t mind the heavy going.

Kazer Forez runs in the 3 10 at Ayr today a 2m 0-110 handicap hurdle. Emma Smith Chaston rides

He makes his stable debut for the yard today, after his arrival from France. He ran some nice races over there, finishing second twice, and a fourth. He may well be entitled to need this after 205 days off, he is another horse who will feel at home on today’s going.

Shighness runs in the 2 00 at Ayr today, a 3m 0-120 handicap chase. Brian Hughes rides

She would have needed her seasonal opener at Carlisle at the beginning of December, in a 3m contest on soft ground. She takes a drop down in class today, the trip and ground will be fine, so we hope that she can run her race and be competitive.

You Say It’s Over runs in the 1 00 at Ayr today, a 2m 5f 0-95 conditional jockeys novices handicap hurdle. Josh Thompson rides ( 7 00 am inspection)

She has failed to get competitive on her 3 runs this season, they have all been on soft ground, todays forecast going will suit her, as her best runs have been on soft or heavy, including 12 months ago over 3m 1f at Catterick finishing runner up. Hopefully she can be competitive in this open looking contest.

Evoluir runs in the 4 03 at Southwell today, a 7f 0-50 classified stakes. Aiden Brookes rides

He returns to action today after a 43 day break, when he finished 8th of 12, beaten six & quarter lengths in a 6f handicap. He steps up to 7f for only the second time, dropping in to a classified contest for the first time. He is a 1lb above his last winning mark, which was at Southwell.

Milajess runs in the 2 27 at Musselburgh tomorrow, a 2m 0-100 handicap hurdle. Josh Thompson rides

She ran a nice enough race last time out on Boxing Day, when he finished 5th of 10, beaten eleven & half lengths in a 2m handicap hurdle. Hopefully she can run her race again off the same mark of 80.

Onenightintown runs in the 12 27 at Musselburgh tomorrow, a 2m 7f 0-100 handicap chase. Alice Stevens rides ( 8 00 inspection)

He has had two runs this season, staying on late first time out, finishing 5th of 11 in a 2m 5f chase at Sedgefield. He was then never competitive before pulling up stepping up to 3m on soft ground at Market Rasen. He is now back down to his last winning mark 75.

He returns to action tomorrow after an 86 day break. He has struggled to get competitive on his last three starts, his mark continues to fall, racing off a mark of 50, 27lb below his last winning one, though that was back in March 2022

Beat The Edge won the 2m 3f handicap chase today under a lovely ride from Emma Smith Chaston. Turned out superbly by Poppy
Despite wandering around on the run in, he kept on to the line to win by a length.
