I’m sorry to say we have had a failure of our till system so we are unable to turn on the fuel pumps, take card payments, scan products and cash up at the moment. This is a new system we put in last October at a cost of £4,543.20 but the supplier is refusing to send an engineer to fault find/ rectify the issue until we pay another £1,800 up front. The system is only 8 months old.
We are open today but only for cash sales.
The post office will be open as usual 9.00am until 1.00 pm. Monday to Saturday.
The shop will be open tomorrow morning for cash sales only ( the accounts system is back to the old pencil and paper mode) but as soon as all the perishable foods have been sold (or have gone out of date) the shop will be closed until Htec rectify their faulty equipment (they only provide a 3 month warranty on new the computers)
We are seeking legal advice and will resume as normal as quick as we can.
Sorry for the muck around but I refuse to be blackmailed.
