In stead of policing the sale of v**es to under-age people, the conservative government, in their usual ill-thought out way are proposing banning e-liquid flavours. This is an idiotic way of going about this, but it is the party that had Boris Johnson as its head for so long, and just look at the mess he left the country in! The same idiot who then resigned as an MP to avoid corruption charges!
Figures suggest that about 33% of ADULT v**ers would return to smoking if e-liquid flavours were banned, and 30% would consider going back if e-liquid flavours were banned that is staggering - 63% of v**ers are at risk because of the conservatives party's illegal actions.
With around 5 MILLION adult v**ers in the UK, the conservatives are essentially removing a healthy alternative and forcing 3,150,000 people back to smoking, that is disgraceful and we can't let them get away with it. 3,150,000 people forced to run the risk of heart disease, lung cancer, strokes and a multitude of other diseases that are directly linked to smoking, just because we've got a corrupt government who can't be arsed to do its job.
The cynical amoung us would suggest the conservatives are counting on these 3,150,000 people returning to smoking, as it will boulster the treasury with all the tax and duties it reaps in from the sale of to***co, but that is a false economy as the costs of healthcare that arise from the damage that smoking does far outweighs the short-term income.
Ban disposables for their environmental impact and even their impact on children, but leave e-liquid flavours alone - e-liquids are for the adults!
We would like the Government to not ban flavoured e-liquids for e-ci******es. We believe the va**ng industry has helped many people quit ci******es which contain to***co - a product which is single handily responsible for over 8 million deaths a year across the globe (estimated by WHO).
