Proud to support a life saving cause 💖

We’re proud to share our recent donation to the Letham and District Community Council (LDCC)! This contribution will help funds for a public access defibrillator and 2 outdoor cabinets, as well as future replacements and maintenance of the equipment. Amazing, life saving equipment that we feel no community should be without 🚑
Letham currently has one 24/7 public access defibrillator, as well as one here in the Keystore and one in Davidsons the Chemist which can be accessed during business hours.
We are working on ways to make ours publicly accessible outwith the shop opening hours.

A defibrillator is a vital piece of equipment that can save lives. In Scotland, around 3,500 people experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year. While we hope it’s something that no one has to go through, we know that it is and could be a scary scenario that could happen to anyone. Having a defibrillator nearby can double the chances of survival. It’s a life-saving resource that no community should be without.

We’re so proud to support this incredible cause, which is not only close to our hearts but also to many of our customers. Every penny counts, and funds raised beyond the target will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the defibrillator and its equipment and potentially another defibrillator in the village.

🌍 This Friday is World Food Bank Day 🌍

Food banks are a critical service in our communities, helping to provide aid to those on our doorstep facing a difficult time.

At Keystore Letham, we are incredibly proud to support Forfar Food Bank, our local food bank, in a few key ways:

💙 We have a food drop-off point in store where you can leave non-perishable food items for donation. Ideals donations include the likes of: tins of veg, fruit and soup, pasta and noodles, breakfast cereals and peanut butter and jam.
💙 We have a charity donation point at our shop till where you can drop change to support this great cause.

Support is needed year round but, if you’d like to donate this World Food Bank Day, please consider bringing in non-perishable food items during your next shop or adding to the charity tin at the till.

We want to say a huge thank you to all our customers—past, present, and future—who have supported Forfar Food Bank alongside us. Your generosity makes a real difference in our community.
