Splanchnic (pronounced ‘splank-nik’) is an anatomical word relating to the
internal organs of the abdomen. The guts. The word itself was previously unknown to me but relates to something existing in my own body. I’m fascinated with how we are all composed internally of things that we have a limited understanding or concept of. One aspect of this body of work aims to explore these ideas making the internal and invisible , external and tangible.
