Laura is away in the Rhône Valley, France this week - getting yet another certification of her wine geekery…

As I type this, she’s in a masterclass and tasting the Laudun Cotes Du Rhone red and white that I mentioned a few weeks ago! The newest Cru Village in the Rhône, allowed to label their wines “Laudun”, not “Cotes Du Rhone Villages”.

Simons been let loose again with a credit card. He obviously thinks it’s Christmas. The shelves are rammed to the point we are almost having to use bathroom space. In his defence, some beauties turned up this week.

We still have some space left for the weekend for all of your wine and cheese needs. Book your table now before I force the staff to drink it all.
