Duftepunkt by Chaffey Bros in Eden Valley, Australia is an unusual blend of Gewürztraminer (spicy), Riesling (fresh fruits and ZING!) and Kerner (body & texture).

Delightfully fruity, floral, crisp and with a lovely richness on the palate!

Just drink it, or savour it with some cheese!! On by-the-glass this weekend!! 🥂🧀

Our new Lambrusco!! Weve been positively evangelical about sparkling red wine since we opened 6.5 years ago and ALWAYS have one on by-the-glass!!

Great News.

If you haven’t planned your Tuesday evening this week (7th at 7pm) we have 3 places left on our famous Raclette evening. Book over the phone, in store or through Eventbrite.

A delicious combination of hot oozy cheese, potatoes and the best bacon in the world made from Coppa, all paired with some truly refreshing and crisp white wines from alpine countries.

… a new, healthier version of Pancetta is also now available in store. Healthier in that it’s organic, no weird preservatives and from really happy pigs (well, you know, before the inevitable).

We are busy planning our tasting evenings for March - June as lots of our Jan-Feb ones are fully booked! Still space on Raclette Night on 29th Jan though!! Hot melty cheese and Alpine wines - would be ideal for today!!

We have great news... :)

There is somehow some space left of some of our upcoming tastings. Our tastings are very informal, laidback and entertaining. The perfect way to get out for an evening in the two most depressing months of the year.

All start at 7pm and all include x6 wines and some cheese to nibble on.

Wed 15th Jan - Warming Winter Reds (£38pp)
Wines to warm you up and a great evening to explore some really interesting grapes and quirky regions/producers.

Wed 29th Jan - Raclette Night (£40pp)
Alpine wines (refreshing) served with hot seasoned potatoes and a thick scraping of oozing melted Ogleshield cheese. A delight.

Wed 5th Feb - Awesome Austria (£40pp)
New tasting exploring the truly incredible wines from this lesser known, old world and great winemaking country. Don't knock it until you've tried it. Bring on the Gruner!

Tue 25th Feb - What I usually drink... (£40pp)
A great new tasting where we interactively explore how wines we usually drink could compare to something exciting and new. For those drinkers who are sick of the usual New Zealand Sauvy B and want to broaden their drinking horizons. Gonna be great!!!!

A few $$$ at the ready for our trip to Napa Valley in a couple of weeks!!

It’ll be chilly but it’ll be interesting to see vineyards and how wineries operate away from the pressure-cooker that is harvest!!

January!! Just so you know, here are our January opening hours starting from Friday 3rd...

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 11am - 9pm
Friday: 11am - 9pm
Saturday: 10am - 9pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

We'll be open at 6.30pm on Tues/Weds evenings when we have tasting events on - so if you have tickets, fear not!! The event is going ahead!!

From February, we'll be back to normal hours!!
