We are now open 24 hours! We also have up to 6 spaces for HGV parking. Currently £15 per space (because we don’t have showers yet). We do have 15 CCTV cameras and nice amenities. Our diner is open for freshly cooked, made to order hot food and you can call your order through, to save time, on 07535786109. The diner isn’t open on weekends yet and our current hours are 09:00-14:00, however, if you’d like to eat outside of those hours, call for availability. Alternatively, we also have freshly baked, hot savoury slices, pies, puffs, toastie sandwiches, sausage rolls and potato figs, as well as fresh pastries, croissants, pain au chocolats, Portuguese custard tarts, Yum yums and Pecan Plaits, baked fresh every morning.
We should have 6 super fast 300kw EVERY charger’s up and running in about 12 months. Watch this space!! And safe travels 😁

Hey all you lovely people! I’ve only just managed to get into this fb account since September last year! I hope you’re all doing great.

Here’s an update as to what’s happened here since my last post:

We had a driver obliterate our pole sign when he drove straight into it at full speed last October! His car was completely scrunched front and rear, but he managed to escape with just a broken nose and bruised ribs.. ironically enough, these were caused by his airbag and seatbelt.

WE ARE NOW TAKING KEYFUELS AGAIN!!

We now have a discounted price for our HGVs. It’s called HGV Derv and is only available on our HGV pumps which come from our HGV Storage Tank. This is because the sheer volume that lorries put into their tanks.

Our petrol (unleaded) and forecourt diesel prices still remain competitive. The more volume we can sell, the cheaper we can buy it and therefore the cheaper we can sell it. It’s a team effort! 😁.

I still bake fresh pastries, pasties and pies (and a whole lot more) every morning, so pop in for brekky!

Hi Folks. After almost 5 weeks waiting, Keyfuels finally paid us for the 40,000L they owed us after we threatened to take them to court. They didn't like that and they have now cancelled our contract with them. We won't be taking keyfuels anymore. We are still taking UK Fuels, All Star, Shell, some BP cards, all credit/debit cards, cash, card payments over the phone (even the previous fuel cards that are not Keyfuels, can be taken over the phone). Customers can also open an account with us. We will be introducing a special low price on HGV fuel at our pumps 9 and 10 that will be competitive with keyfuels. I'll keep everybody posted on our FB page and group.

Hi Folks! So here's an update for Trewint Service Station:
Keyfuels and UK Fuels STILL haven't paid us for the fuel they owe us! We therefore apologise for still not being able to accept Keyfuels and Uk Fuels cards. They owe us a total of over 40,000L of fuel. To those of you that don't know how those cards work, here's a brief explanation:

You pay them in advance. They then buy millions of litres of diesel with your money. They can get a cheaper price for it because they can purchase so much of it. Then then distribute your paid-for fuel to all the fyel stations that accept their cards. When the amount of fuel you have paid for runs out, your card will decline until you pay them for more. They know how much of their fuel is at each fuel station and supply their fuel accordingly, in advance.

Neither Keyfuels nor UK Fuels were able to supply us with their fuel since the 18th of February. In fact, it was extremely difficult for everyone to get fuel here in the South West. We paid for several arctics to come down from London with fuel, so you lovely folk could keep moving. This was a great expense, bearing in mind the distance, the fuel comsumption and the driver having to rest before heading back. Still we allowed Keyfuels and UK Fuels customers to put our personal supply in their tanks and "pay" for it with their Key Fuels and UK Fuels cards. Fuel that WE had to pay for in advance ourselves. Fuel we are still waiting to be reimbursed for by these two companies.

Key Fuels had the audacity to tell us "it's your own fault for allowing our customers your fuel, causing you to go overdrawn in the bank. We didn't ask you to do that"!! Seruously!? We did it out of our good will and faith in tbeir promises to send us fuel within 3 days. That was THREE weeks ago and STILL we are waiting.

Some good is coming out of this experience though... we are in the process of turning our own pumps 9 and 10 into Special HGV fuel only pumps. We will make them around 9p per litre cheaper than our pole price. To give you Truckers an idea of how much you'll be able to save by paying with either your credit/debit cards or cash, our diesel pole price today is 172.9ppl (including vat). As hypothetical example, that would mean your HGV fuel would cost you 163.9ppl (including VAT). A lorry driver told us today that he received a text from Keyfuels, telling him the new Keyfuels price is 192.9ppl (including VAT) PLUS a 0.5ppl handling charge, making that 193.4ppl. On a 500L deposit of fuel, it would be a theoretical saving of £147.50, fueling up with us instead of using yoir keyfuels cards!

Keep an eye out for my updates. I'll keep you all posted as to when we'll have these discounts for you and when we'll be able to accept Keyfuels and UK Fuels cards here again.

Shell cards, All Star cards(chip usage only when joined with Keyfuels), credit cards, debit cards and cash are still all accepted methods of payment.

Hi Folks. I'm sorry to say but we've had to lower our Diesel limit to £30. We had a measly 10,000L delivered recently, even though we had ordered 36,000L. We want to help everyone in need. We still haven't been paid by the fuel card companies for the 40,000L worth of diesel that we've allowed their customers to have from our personal supply. We've even allowed our lovely lorry drivers to get some off the forecourt because our HGV tank is empty, so we still can't accept the fuel cards at the moment. We have helped lorries carrying livestock or animal feed, as well as those that are on the red and not going to make it to the next one. We're doing our best to try and help everyone. We've got orders in and we're on standby for deliveries.

Folks, we are doing our best to keep you in the move. THERE IS NO FUEL PROBLEM PAST EXETER. We appear to be the only ones with fuel at the moment but that is because we are getting it from London (at a loss) so you folk can keep moving. We have a limit of £40 on diesel (no limit on unleaded) until further notice and we can't accept the company fuel cards that belong to KeyFuels and UK Fuels. No problem with all the others. The problem down in the South West is due the the storm and the problems it caused in Plymouth and then not being able to distribute quick enough.
PLEASE REMEMBER: THERE IS NO FUEL PROBLEM PAY EXETER AND DOWN HERE SHOULD BE BACK TO NORMAL IN ABOUT A WEEK.

To all fuel card users, here's a heads up:
Certas, Keyfuels, UK Fuels and All-Star haven't been able to deliver to us due to the damage caused by last week's storm at Plymouth and the oil tankers not being able to get in there either. We have had to get our deliveries from bleddy London! It's costing us a fortune to bring it from there but we will do everything in our power to keep you on the road, even if it is just enough to get you to the next "wet" fuel station. We have so far allowed fuel card holders to use their cards to "borrow" around 40,000L of our fuel, but it's just costing too much to continue to allow that. For the moment, we can only accept all major credit cards, debit cards or cash. Hopefully, things will get back to normal quickly and we can resume accepting fuel cards. We are very sorry and will post on here as soon as these companies can get their fuel to us.

So, the ships that have been full and waiting to drop off fuel are now able to come in and unload. The crafts have been fixed and everyone is working overtime to catch up and distribute the back log of fuel to all the filling stations. Things should be back to normal during next week. Let's all be sensible, folks. If you've got a quarter of tank in your vehicle and you don't actually NEED to use that up for a couple of days, have a cup of tea and enjoy the rest of your weekend 😊. No need to panic buy, or we'll all run out again 😅 🤪
