Good morning!
Nice to see the sun making a reappearance this morning.

So today and tomorrow I am flying solo trying to man the shop, make the delivery boxes and deliver the boxes. So it may take me a bit of time to reply to emails and messages.
From Thursday I am in the shop with no deliveries as they finish tomorow.
So, that being said, here are our opening hours for the rest of the week.
Tuesday: until 12
Wednesday: 9 - 12
Thursday: 9-2
Friday: 9-12:30
Saturday: 10-3
Sunday: 11-2 (if there's anything left)

FRIDGES!

We have 2 large Framec multi deck fridges in the shop.
1 needs a new compressor, 1 works and just needs a clean.
If someone knows what they're doing with these fridges the compressor would be an easy change and worth more than the repair cost.

If you can come and pick them up then you can have them. Will need a large van and a couple of people as they are very heavy.

Need to be taken away by Sunday morning at the latest.

Wow, its the dawn of our last ever week!
It's come in quickly and I have a couple of things to mention.

This week it's 30% off everything in the shop (except fruit and veg). During the week I'll also be taking stock of our refill section and may have some bulk offers available for those so keep an eye out.

We also have our fittings to sell as well. Including all our shop shelves (solid wood, handmade and in great condition) which can be split into multiple sections, equally solid counter, 3 butcher block tables, 2 ikea dining tables, 2 Casio tills, 2 sets of scales, tall glass door fridge and lots more.

Wow!

Thank you so much for all your amazing messages, you'd bring a tear to a glass eye!
I'm gutted to be closing and I feel like I'm losing the most wonderful extended family I could ever ask for.
In all the news this week and the events of the last few weeks I had managed to forget that Monday 19th is the Glasgow fair, so with the market being closed deliveries will move to Tuesday automatically.

Good morning everyone.

This is the hardest post I think I've ever had to write!

I am deeply saddened to announce that at the end of this month we will be closing our doors for the last time.
A combination of factors has led to this in what has to be one of the hardest situations for small businesses up and down the country.
Our unit is to be sold by the owner and we have been asked to leave at the end of the month so the time decision was made for me.
Deliveries will continue as normal until Wednesday 27th July when we will send out our final deliveries, so get those orders in. Our doors will close on Friday 29th July for the last time.
Starting next week all shelf stock will be 25% off, so pop along and see what we have. This also includes fridge and freezer stock.

I would like to extend a massive thank you to all of our customers, both current and previous for your support over the last 5 years, its been an amazing time with so many highs along with the lows. I will truly miss you all so much.

On the practical side I would ask that any customer who have standing orders set up please arrange for these to end once your last delivery has been made. Once I get everything sorted out I will check credit/arrears and be in contact directly with any affected.

Well that's been a week!

So it looks like a I might finally get that negative test tomorrow, hurray!
That means I will be back on Monday morning to get back on track and stock you all up on fresh fruit and veg again.

With having been closed for 2 weeks we won't have as much fresh fridge items as we usually would (Puddledub and Findlaters) until later in the week when we will be fully stocked again.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding with my terrible timing!
Can't wait to catch up with you all and hear about all the holiday adventures so far

Man down!

So we arrived back from our brilliant holiday and feeling a bit rough I discovered that I have COVID.

I'm really sorry but I will have to delay our reopening until I'm feeling better.
With my kids starting to show signs as well I am going to say that we will plan to reopen on Monday 11th July.
If I'm able to manage earlier then I absolutely will.

I'm really sorry for the delay, I've escaped it for 2.5 years but it's finally got me!

This has crept up very quickly!
So we will be out and about this week as normal, we then close our doors on Friday for a week, so there will be no deliveries between the 27th June and 1st July.
I have been trying to catch everyone as I've been out around my delivery routes the last 2 weeks and I'll make sure I catch everyone else this week.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be a bit different this week. I am going to be both making boxes and doing deliveries. This means that deliveries on those days may come at a different time to normal and the shop will be open sporadically in between. I'll do my best to keep you updated but you can guarantee that I'll be in the shop until 11 tomorrow (Monday) morning and Tuesday afternoon, after 2:30 until 4 as usual.

Ready for a busy week and for all of you who are also heading away on holiday, we hope you have an amazing time!

It feels funny with there being no school holiday this weekend!

Apologies for the delay on this one, mini Mr Hogans isn't too well and had me a bit distracted. He's on the mend though (phew) and no doubt will be back to his sparkling self within a day or 2!

So although the schools aren't closed, the market is, which means we are once again closed on Monday (I'm almost getting used to these long weekends!). All deliveries will as usual in this circumstance be moved to Tuesday.
We are aware that the market will also be closed for the late May bank holiday and the Glasgow Fair on the 18th July.
That should cover all the closures for the next 6 months or so. I will remind myself to post about them closer to the time as well.

What a weekend! We hope you've all been out enjoying the fantastic weather! Ready for the coming week?
We're getting ready here at HQ, getting the orders in so we have everything ready for you all.

This week we are going to be a bit short handed so get those orders in and I can schedule you all in. Please bear with me if I ask to move any delivery days this week, I'm hoping this won't be needed and we'll be running as normal!
