The importance of a newly purchased, community-owned defibrillator based in Stenhousemuir has already been exemplified after it almost had to be used twice within 12 hours.

An incident occurred earlier today where the defibrillator was deployed from The Valley Shop for a gentleman in need. An ambulance arrived after only a few minutes and the paramedics quickly took control. Quick thinking was the answer here, well done to everyone involved.

We would all like to wish the gentleman a very speedy recovery.

KLSB support over 70 households per week through our walk in service and emergency aid. We work with local schools, Falkirk council, support agencies and police Scotland.
We could not do this without the support of the community.
If you can help in any way then please get in touch.

We are open on Monday between 11.00 - 13.00 and Saturday between 10.00 - 12.00at 38 King Street (next door to Farmfoods) for donations. Donations can also be handed into Londis Stenhousemuir
