We have some big news…
After more than 50 years of running a grocery and convenience store in Langholm, we’ll be closing our doors for the final time on Friday 18th November. At the young old age of 76, John has decided that the time has come to hang up his shop overalls and spend more time with family. He might even try and squeeze in another round of golf or two.
Running a small business in a town like ours hasn’t been easy but we’ve been fortunate to have had loyal and lovely customers throughout the decades. Thank you to all of you who have shopped with us. The support we received throughout the Covid-19 pandemic in particular was phenomenal and we will be forever grateful for this. As we’ve moved beyond Covid restrictions though, local shops have faced one of the most challenging trading periods to date.
But the good news is that our wee shop premises won’t stay empty for long – watch out for announcements on who’ll be filling our shelves soon. We’d like to wish them all the best for the future.
We’ll be open as normal over the next 7 days but please excuse any chaos as we prepare to close. We’re looking forward to serving you all one last time.
