This week, we've opened the delicious La Demoiselle Sancerre Blanc.
The Mellot family only use only ecological methods of cultivation, in vineyards located on clay and chalk soils. Made from 71 year old vines in the heart of the appellation, and hand harvested to ensure the highest quality. The grapes are then delicately pressed and aged for 10 months in wooden vats.
Bold and rich with delicious notes of pink grapefruit, peach, flint and oak.

Paying tribute to Peter Barlow, who took on the Rustenberg property in 1941. His family continue his legacy today creating world class wines.
This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the oldest vinyard on the property, and aged for 20 months in French oak.
