Why not pop in to Premier Southmuir and grab a Christmas colouring in sheet for the kids.

The competition is open to artists within the ages of 0-7 and 8-14.
there will be festive chocolate prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd place for both age categories.

The winner will be announced on the 23rd of December so make sure to hand your entries in well in advance.🎅

TARGE 2024
Thirty nine and still running. That’s the number of years that wargames shows have been running in Kirriemuir.
TARGE 2024 is a public, miniature wargames event with all of the games encouraging members of the public to take part. Each game is designed as a public participation game with easy pick-up rules for all ages.
TARGE is on Saturday 2nd November in the Guide Halls, Roods, Kirriemuir and is open to the public from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Entry is £1.00 for the day with all figures and accessories provided for each game.
The underbelly of Ancient Rome is represented by the novel Gangs of Rome or could you be a gladiator in the Colosseum? Many other periods from throughout history are available to try out your tactical and dice rolling skills.
The demonstrating clubs are competing for the TARGE, a replica of an old Jacobite shield and the Crann Tara Targe for the best game featuring a Scottish theme and/or figures. Each targe is accompanied by prizes donated by long term sponsors Autosales of Kirriemuir and Colin M Smith the local electrical appliances shop.
Dave Thomas is the main trader with the vast perry miniatures range and martin Cameron will have the old Lamming Miniatures ranges as well as new ranges sculpted by himself.
A huge Bring and Buy stall will strain under the thousands of miniature wargames items for sale. A small raffle includes some excellent prizes donated by several hobby companies.
There will be light refreshments and of course free town centre car parking for those who need it.

This year TARGE features twelve different tabletop figure games for you to try. They include fantasy, sci-fi and historical with everything supplied for enjoyable games. Just come along and have a go. £1.00 entry for the whole day.
