Let’s talk motivation for a second, you start the day or the week like “yeah I’m gonna smash it I’m so motivated…. For like a day…..
Well, motivation is like that fresh cup of coffee, it gives you a quick boost, but it doesn’t last long.
It’s gonna come and go. And guess what?
THAT’S OK. You don’t need it to be consistent. What you need? Discipline.
Discipline is showing up, even when you don’t feel like it. It’s deciding to do the work when the motivation isn’t there. Trust me, the results come from the days you push through without waiting for that “spark” to hit you.
Nobody wakes up “motivated” to brush their teeth, but we do it anyway cos we know it’s good for us, yeah?

No I won’t be wiggling my bum in a matching 2 price gym set, or kicking my leg to the side gleefully or doing fancy transitions where I jump magically into my fancy pants scrunch bum hym outfit!
Just the real sh*t of a mum trying to get into the gym when the mental load is real!! 😂😂 anyone else fail to be able to concentrate on anything when the breakfast dishes are still everywhere!??? Can’t just be me!

I said it last year and it still stands today!
Don’t go head first into the gym in January if you know you won’t sustain it, you’ll waste your time and your money and still be miserable in feb! Use this time to make the small habits you know you’ll continue to manage that will still be seeing you make progress in the summer!
If you do wanna hit the gym in January, do it cos you want to feel awesome, not cos you destroyed the quality street for a week in December and you feel like a pig in a blanket!! 🤷♀️
