Experimenting!! 🍓

While I’m waiting for the latest batch of gins to come back from ABV testing, I thought it a good idea to trial a strawberry infused gin.

Got to say, upon tasting (an obvious perk of the job) 😋 I’m loving it. It’s just the right amount of sweet and smells delicious.

Watch out….think this will be my next release. 🍓

It’s a Quince kind of day! 😊

I managed to source some Quince from a cold store in Kent. A crate of quince, and a whole lot of vodka are now happily fermenting.

I'm scaling down to a small batch Quince vodka this year so I can focus on experimenting with new flavours. 🍸🤩

Feeling the chill outside? Warm up with our Winter Warmer Sloe Gin recipe! Perfect for cosy evenings by the fire. 🔥

Try this delightful blend of sloe gin, hot water, honey, and a touch of lemon. Your go-to winter sipper! ❄️🍹

200ml sloe gin
500ml apple juice
1 cinnamon stick
3 cloves
Orange peel (1 strip)
Honey to taste

Instructions:

🍸 In a saucepan, combine sloe gin and apple juice.

🍸 Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and orange peel.

🍸 Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally.

🍸 Once it's heated through (but not boiling), remove from heat.

🍸 Add honey to taste, stirring until dissolved.

🍸 Strain the mixture into mugs or glasses.

🍸 Garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange twist if desired.

Enjoy your cosy warm sloe gin drink!
