Well the girls have their winter duvet on the hive to protect them from woodpeckers who are partial to a bee or two !! Mouse guards in place to stop the mice from grabbing a bed over the winter !! Check out the pictures of damage that woodpeckers have done in the past . See you in 2021 !! 🐝🐝🙏🎄

The final batch of summer honey is now bottled, and the girls have produced another super batch of medium coloured honey - The orchard where they now live has provided some unique flavours

The summer honey has finally been collected and now it is time to extract / filter and bottle. The girls are starting to get ready for the longer nights. All is peaceful in the orchard.....If anybody specifically is interested in a ‘comb honey order’ please message me and let me know.

Well - Four weeks ago the girls created a really light honey, with a load of citrus notes that lingered on the palate.....Now, the next batch from a hive three feet away from the the original is ready, and the girls have been feasting totally different pollens to create this ‘special’ honey - chestnut pollen and apple......2020 maybe “pants” so far, but it is going to be great for conkers in Kenilworth if my girls have their say !! Check out the colours of the two honeys

At this time of the year where students thank their teachers for all the hard work they put in - BIG THANK YOU to Clive who is the Yoda of Bee Keeping . The fact he never wears gloves does however prove that he is bonkers !!

et voila .....Finally my new line has arrived - Comb Honey direct from Kenilworth. Can’t decide on which is the best colour for the packaging. Favouring yellow or green, but would appreciate the thoughts of my FB friends

Initial batch of honey to Budgen’s Roseland Road now all sold out !! New stock has been delivered this afternoon !! 🍯🐝🙏.
The girls will have to put an extra shift in to keep up with requests !!
