One more taste of golden deliciousness before we head to South Africa.

Book in between 5 - 9pm for eat-in or takeaway burgers and rosemary fries. Choice of double smashed beef- or mega veggie- patty available on homemade melkbrood buns.

All the good stuff on top, American style cheee, burger sauce, gherkins, tomato and crunchy lettuce.

Return of the Smash Burger 🍔

We’re bringing back the burger for one night only.

Homemade melkbrood bun, 2 smash burger patties with meat from or a banging veggie patty made in house, American-style cheese, burger sauce, lettuce and tomato with a side of rosemary fries 🤤

We’ve managed to take zero photos the last 2 times we made burgers so you’ll have to come see for yourself. Eat-in or takeaway options available 5 - 9pm. Essential to pre-book/ -order either as when we run out, we run out.

We’re going on an adventure…

It’s almost harvest time, not in the UK, but in South Africa. So is heading to Stacey’s homeland to make some ‘Southern Wine’.

We’ll be away for 5 weekends from 20 February - 27 March. Back open from 28 March full of inspiration and vitamin D.

Get your ramble fix this weekend and next as well as Valentine’s weekend. We’ve got 3 roasts left until end of March and a sneaky night with Rob before we head off.

Will you come to ramble with me?

Book in, Friday 14th Feb with your favourite person.

We’ll save you from dishes and having to figure out what to eat for the night with a 5 course menu and a glass of bubbles on arrival.

We’ll have two sittings - 6pm & 8pm so book in via DM and we’ll get the candles lit.

There will be a vegetarian and a meat menu, please let us know your choice when booking.

In the new corner - Belhaven smoked salmon with horseradish cream, salty capers, cornichons, crisp Rugbrød, pickled onions and dill

A returning favourite - No regret raclette 🧀 Oozy Ogleshield cheese atop new potatoes with cornichons and onions.

We overheard someone say ‘I feel like I’m in the Alps!’ last night so if you feel like a whirlwind trip on a plate then book in - no ski pass required.

You’ve been roasting by the fire and roasted by your family over the last few weeks. Time to head back to Ramble for a relaxing roast dinner.

We’re open from Friday, 10 Jan for a bunch of new small plates and delicious wines from the cellar. Then we can’t wait to serve you large plates piled with our favourite roast bits, Sunday 12th.

Parsnips a firm favourite with whipped British ricotta and raw honey.

Butterbean and caramelised onion purée topped with roasted squash from the beautiful market garden (where got the grapes from this year).

Properly luxurious chicken liver parfait, salty sourdough crisps and slow cooked onions. Rob from is a fan of what we’ve done with his livers.

Let us help you sort through the sea of wines to discover delicious, low intervention wines from our favourite producers.

We’ll curate a 6, 3 or 1 bottle box for you and ship it to your front door. You’ll get notes with every box so you can learn a bit more about each wine, the people who made it and where they’re from.

The way we select wines will be much like the way we make our own wine and curate our menus at Ramble - with a focus on quality, producers who care deeply about their product and with the seasons in mind.

We’re carrying on our tradition of Vietnamese on New Year’s Eve 💃

See off the year that was 2024 with a multi course Vietnamese feast and delicious wine. We’ll have loads of bubbles ready to pop too 🍾

Choose from 3 sittings depending on your night’s plans. 5pm or 7pm for those heading off for a night on the town or 9pm for those who want a long, lazy dinner.

We’ll be open until 00h30 so you can greet the new year with a glass in hand 🥂 We’ll be open for walk-in drinks from 11pm if you’ve got dinner plans sorted already.

It’s getting festive 💃

We thought we should probably let you know when we’re open and closed over the next month 😂

We’ll be open as usual Thursday - Sunday for the rest of the year, only closed on Boxing Day (Thurs, 26 Dec).

We’re also open a bunch of extra days including:

Mon, 23 Dec - Tacos
Christmas Eve - Tacos
New Year’s Eve - Vietnamese Feast & New Year’s drinks
New Year’s Day - Brunch club

We’re then closed 2-5 January as we fall down in a heap. Ready to open again Thurs, 9 January with a bang 🍾

Take a bit of ramble home with you…

It’s that time of the year where you have to figure out what to get to put a smile on your favourite peoples’ faces.

We’ve got you covered:

• vouchers of any value
• ⁠posters designed by Stacey, printed on handmade paper
• ⁠screen-printed shirts and tote bags

Our vouchers are handwritten on offcuts from our wine labels. They can be for any amount and personalised for your recipient. Redeemable on food and drink or any takeaway wines. Valid multiple times, until they are all used up.

There’s been a lot of interest in the posters we have on our walls which were designed by Stacey and giclée printed on handmade paper by We’re gauging interest before placing an order so let us know your favourite design(s) and a size between A5-A1 and we’ll let you know pricing.

Our screen-printed organic shirts are available in multiple adult sizes and two prints. The totes make the perfect bag to carry delicious wine. Also printed by

We have a last minute tasting this week 🍷

We’ve been lucky enough to be asked to host Jean-François Deu from on Friday. His Banyuls & Collioure vineyards are situated where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean in Roussillon on the French/Catalan border.

Come taste a white, two reds and two insanely good sweet wines. We’ll be pairing them with charcuterie, cheese and two tasty dishes made by us.

Given the short notice we’re doing it at an absolute steal for £45pp.

We’ll be open Saturday, 12 - 4pm for lunchtime service this week only. We’ll have snacks, toasties and triple cooked chips to fill you up.

£1 corkage on any bottle of wine to drink in*, 11 wines by the glass, local beers and soft drinks to keep your glasses more than half full.

We’re fully booked for dinner tonight and Sunday Roast tomorrow so this is your chance to get cosy for KMF.
