It’s beginning to look a lot like the Kings Head Christmas Market! A joyous festive occasion playing host to local artisans, vintage and preloved sellers, craftspeople and talented makers of all kinds! The mulled wine and cider will be flowing and we’ll be cooking up warm Turkey and Stuffing brioche buns to keep you warm whilst you peruse the stalls. We’ll be open from midday so come along and join us on Saturday 7th December for a spot of Christmas shopping, supporting local creatives whilst you’re at it! Such a pleasure and real honour to have such an esteemed musician @jameswalshmusic play at our little pub last night. Not only a captivating musician and brilliant songwriter but a gentle and thoroughly lovely person. From playing to an audience 25,000 people in Korea last week to our music loving corner of Suffolk, James plays his heart out no matter how immense or intimate the crowd. With chef Nico cooking up a pre show dinner and long term @starsailorofficial and James Walsh fans coming from far and wide as well as from neighbouring villages, @jim.media on sound and videography, it was a beautiful evening all round. Freddie’s Fried Chicken Friday comes to town dishing up umami packed Korean spiced fried chicken in a soft brioche bun with spicy kimchi slaw and a smashed cucumber salad! Crispy, spicy, crunchy, soft, sweet, pickled and oh so savoury - this is quite simply a symphony of flavours all washed down with ice cold Shoju Sours and Shoju Spicy Margaritas!
