The last of this type of single cask that Glendronach is going to release. Distilled in 1993 this drop of pure history is a 30 year old Glendronach, it rested in the traditional Glendronach warehouses in the single Pedro Ximenez butt, cask number #6753, developing and maturing its incredible flavours until its bottling at the end of 2023. This limited Edition produced 595 bottles.

Duncan Taylor possesses some of the oldest and rarest Grain whiskies with casks at almost 60 years old. Grains are best known for the part they play in Blended Scotch Whiskies, in some cases making the greater part of the finished but grain whisky on its own can be a truly spectacular drink on its own.
The Caledonian is another distillery owned by the Distiller Company Limited and didn't survive the whisky downturn of the 1980's closing its door in 1987.
Other than being a drop of pure history this dram offers flavours of green fruits, apple, honeydew melon, and a hint of unripe green banana. Some spun sugar, but the sweetness is not cloying and all is balanced by a ripple of soft oaky spice, with coriander seed and gentle pepper..

Spirit first ran from North of Scotland stills in March 1958 after Christie buying and converting the Forth Brewery in Cambus, the distillery was closed in 1980 and dismantled in 1993.
From one of the few remaining casks it is not a dram to be missed with flavours of honey comb from a Cadbury's Chrunchie chocolate bar, apple sauce, plums, sultana raisins, apple/cherry, citrus (grapefruit), orange, spices, and a steamy oaky sauna.

Cameronbridge is one of the oldest grain distilleries in Europe dating back into the very early 19century.
This dram is Big and creamy, filled with lashings of fruits, tropical piña colada with fresh apple and coconut, An unexpected maltiness amongst the fruits. More vanilla than the nose.
