Our range of publications and products include: • Newspapers • Magazines • Stationery • Household goods Then there’s tasty treats for everyone to enjoy from soft drinks to confectionery and a full range of groceries, fruit and vegetables, dairy products, pet foods. Our delicious local produce includes: • Sandwiches • Free range eggs • Fresh in-store baked bread and pastries complimented by regular deliveries from our local bakery, Kingscliffe • Cakes and tarts • Pies and savory snacks • Sausages and meat goods freshly delivered by the fabulous Chatteris Butchers But it doesn’t stop there! You’ll also find that we offer a variety of handy services including: • Dry cleaning • Lottery services • Passport photos • Shoe repairs Established in 1945, J R Green News Shop has a rich history in the local area. Sawtry and surrounding villages and farms used to benefit from our delivery service up until 1969 when the development of supermarkets reduced local demand. As the shop and its services continued to develop, the community welcomed the arrival of our Post Office in 1966. In the last five years, we have pushed to offer even more convenience while still offering the great value and friendly service of the last seven decades. Stop by and see what's on offer!
