Barrel-aged in French oak for 8 months, this Pinot Noir reveals expressive hints of toast, vanilla, and cedar aromas. Founded in 1982, Kendall-Jackson embodies a legacy of family, quality, and stewardship. Eight years after planting his first grapes on a Lake County property, founder Jess Jackson and his family embarked on a mission to craft premium, yet affordable, California wine.

The grapes for this wine are cultivated in cool coastal vineyards, resulting in small, densely flavoured fruit that contributes to the creation of well-structured wines. By keeping the wines separate until the final blend, the winemakers ensure the perfect integration of flavours and aromas from each region.

This dark garnet Pinot Noir delivers bright cherry, strawberry, and raspberry aromas, accented by notes of cola and mild spice. It's an ideal companion for fillet mignon, a stacked burger, or a cheese board.

On this national fish and chip day, those of us who still haven't got over the Norman invasion of 1066, will squirm in their boots at the suggestion that something from France could possibly be the perfect accompaniment to our beloved national dish.

It's been a truly Majestic couple of days at this year's London Wine Fair, as our colleagues came away with an incredible haul of nine prestigious team and individual accolades.

At the Drinks Business Awards on Tuesday, Majestic took home FIVE prizes – more than any other business:

At the Wine Buyers Awards earlier in the day, Matthew Fowkes was awarded Supermarket & Multiple Wine Buyer of the Year, with judges recognising his ability to source unique, off-the-beaten track wines and grow sales in difficult categories. Our new colleagues at Vagabond also took home some silverware after being crowned Best On-Trade Buying Team.

And on day one of the Fair, Buyer Zara Cassidy and our PR and Events Coordinator Chloe Freeman were both named among Harpers 30 Under 30 list for 2024. Harpers praised Zara’s "commitment to sustainability, which shines through so much of what she does at Majestic", including in our Wine Club subscription cases. Chloe made the list as a result of her "strategic foresight and creative decision-making", helping to drive sales of new Majestic products including our Chosen By Majestic and Definition BY Majestic own-brand ranges.
