Due to an error with our system our paypoint machine is currently not working which means we cannot accept parcels at this moment.

Over the last week we have been subject to customers being abusive towards our staff. This is not tolerated and we will not stand for it.
Today we had two customers came demanding items and then got abusive.
This will be reported.
If we don’t have what you’re looking for then it’s not our fault that you can’t be bothered to address it Earlier.
With the amount of abuse we are receiving at the moment it’s more than likely that highbridge will loose another shop in the high street.

We are constantly looking at our prices in store and we have dropped the price of our milk recently but now we are also dropping the price of our bread in our store.
We continue to look at our prices to keep dropping them when we can to help our community.

As you’re aware we are now taking royalmail parcels. We only take the tracked 24 and 48 ONLY.
We do not take in any other parcel for royalmail.
Any parcel that doesn’t have 24 or 48 tracked will be refused and returned with royalmail.
What we don’t want to see is people using us as a normal address for posting anything.

Ive just had some customers in this morning asking about empty shops in market street. They want to put yet another barbers in the area. What do you lot think? Do we have enough barbers or do we need more ?

Good Evening,
Some of you know the old lady called Jo. Who wanders around highbridge. She has dementia and it seems to be getting worse. If you see her she doesn’t recognise anyone. However she does recognise me in the shop and we are working with her to get her some sort of help. So if you do see her direct her to the shop where she’ll know me and I can try me get her back to where she should be. Let’s keep an eye out for her to make sure she’s ok.

Good Afternoon,
I know everyone has been having issues with the local drunks and drug users but I want to ask would anyone attend a meeting locally with the council and hopefully the police and ymca to get this sorted. I know that traders and locals are getting fed up with these and nothing being done. If you’ll like to see this then let me know so I can get onto the council and get it organised. Let’s get the answers we all need. Let’s all stick together.

Good morning, it’s been a long night and I’ve just got in. Well I’d like to thank all the 658 people that voted for me to become councillor, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. It was a tight vote and now you have a Labour candidate running highbridge. Maybe sometime in the future it would happen but not this time.
