Local Stores be aware,

At around 8.15PM, The person in the face covered mask quickly came in and out of Maddy's Store whilst stealing 4 bottles of wine. The other person (wearing only the beanie) stated they did not know the thief hence the face being blurred.

Any help in identifying this person is appreciated as we look into informing the police.

Crime reference numbers will be attached shortly once given.

Two females came into Maddys store acting suspicious at 14.30 today, they came in with black puffers as pictured and were trying to hide their face. Initially they were loitering around and then left without taking anything but when they returned again. They walked near the till to look like they were attempting to pay but then they quickly ran off with two large bottles of vodka and a grinder ( nothing major financially but this obviously shouldn’t be happening) .

Store update.

With the updated news in the last 24 hours, we have decided to stay open.
However have adhered extra precautions to safety as stated below.

These rules are set in place for the safety of our customers, our staff and friends and family of all.

- Only two customers to enter the shop at one time.
- No hoarding, or bulk buying.
- All customers who enter the building will be asked to put on gloves. (Please let us know if you are allergic; we will pick the items and bring it out to you and take a contactless card payment)
- Please refrain from touching any item you’re unlikely to buy.
- If you are unsure if we have an item you want; ring us prior and check. This is to stop any wasted trips from happening.

We ask kindly that everyone follows these rules, as we want to continue to stay open (until told otherwise) and provide all the locals with the daily essentials. If these few rules are not followed we may not be able to continue to stay open.
