Tomorrow, we're thrilled to welcome back the Chactonbury Morris Dancers for our annual Wassailing (Apple Howling)! 🌳🍎 Join us in honoring our beloved apple trees and all the delicious fruits they bring, as we raise our voices and cups to toast a bountiful 2025 harvest while cherishing the fruits of 2024. 🎶🍏

📅 Don’t miss out on this delightful family-friendly event filled with fun, tradition, and warm community spirit—just in time before we bid farewell to the festive season!

👉 Mark your calendars and bring your friends & family to celebrate with us! Let’s make some noise for our apple trees together! 🎊✨

We have winter parking from around 70 cars on site, however this fills up quickly and is on a first come first basis.The farm drive will be closed for the event between 2:45 - 3:30 with restricted in and out access. We imagine will be full up by 2:30pm, so please arrive before hand if you wish to park onsite to avoid disappointment where possible.We have organized to use the parking at The Bolney Wine Estate as an overflow with only a short 5-10 minute walk along the footpath.

FOOTPATH UPDATE

Walked today, the footpaths are in pretty good condition, there are of course muddy parts, and puddles, mainly by gates and stiles, so wear wellies, but all in all they are pretty good for this time of year

Our Story

Based in Bolney, Sussex. The Cider Tap & Orchard is the homestead of Wobblegate Juices and Ciders. Set amongst our 200 acre farm and orchards, we have a huge selection of our own farm made award winning drinks plus other favourites from around the UK to take home or enjoy in our beautiful taproom. To keep you going we serve daily delicious freshly ground coffee from a local roastery, and home made stone baked pizzas on weekends (Weekends depend on our seasonal hours - please check first to avoid disappointment) Our stunning Taproom garden is open during selected weekends throughout the summer, honestly the best place to enjoy one of our ciders in the sun. Keep an eye out for special events, Ciderworks and Orchard tours plus garden opening hours for 2020. Sign up to our newsletter for the latest, this can be done through our website.
