The coffee machine is on, pies are waiting to be heated and we have plenty of supplies if you are running short.

We have some wonderful new things arriving at the shop at the moment and we are so excited to share these new additions with you.

None more so than these fab, hand-knitted decorations by our very own Abi!

When she is not helping out behind the counter our creative and talented team member is also making these lovely decorations.

Come into the shop and see what else we have and maybe take one of these gorgeous pumpkins home with you too! *guaranteed not to go squishy and rotten before Halloween*

Just a reminder that we will be open tomorrow from 7am for all the runners, crews and volunteers of the Dovedale Dipper and .running, and any other early birds in Hartington too!

We will have the coffee machine fired up and ready to go, bacon sandwiches for those in need of breakfast, pies and cakes too.

We are just round the corner from the village hall where registration is taking place.

On Saturday upon finishing your jaunt across the Peak District, you’ll be warmly welcomed back to the Village Hall in Hartington by our crew of Blinding Peakers and then will be time to tuck into your finishers meal; veg chilli & jacket potatoes courtesy of who are once again taking the lead on catering at the Dipper🧑‍🍳🥘

It's so humbling to see and hear what you are doing to celebrate the 60 years of Buxton Mountain Rescue. We all love ❤️ the creative ways you support us and the community spirit behind each donation and story that we see. Sarah Farmer has picked 60 stems of Rhubarb to sell at Hartington Village Stores, to celebrate our 60th year. Proceeds are being put In to the collection box. Better grab some while they are ready (although a little bird 🐦 tells me there may be more on the way) Thank you Sarah and The Village Stores, Hartington!

What’s the best thing about Saturdays at the shop?

It could definitely be pastries that’s the best thing about Saturdays!
•
Every week we receive a gorgeous delivery of croissant, pain au chocolate, pain au raisin, cardamom buns and almond croissants and believe me when I say they don’t hang around for long!

And I haven’t even mentioned the bread yet…

So many brilliant new products arriving at the shop at the moment and we are really excited to have .dog dog treats now available at The Village Stores Hartington!

We’ve got gorgeous, handy tins of treats to entertain all day long, individual dubya chews for a quick snack while you have a coffee outside and dental fangs too for fresh breath and healthy teeths!

These treats come 100% Daphne approved and we just love them at the shop too!

With so much snow about we have decided to close early and get everyone home safely.
We will be shutting at 1:30pm.

We will be here from 9am to 3pm until the 31st, we will be closed on New Years Day and then back open as usual from the 2nd.
