A bit of a personal post this morning, but as we’re winding down towards the end of 2024, I wanted to say a personal thank you to each and every one of you who have continued to support this small local business through what has been a mental year. I am truly overwhelmed at how patient and supportive you all have been through the changes we’ve been through - from Costcutter to Spar, to supporting our food to go venture and our very own Charlotte (the coffee machine 🥰), to the cages lying around the shop floor on delivery days as opposed to the pallets outside some of you attempted to nick toilet roll from 🤣, to our new layout and swapping the chilled and juice fridge around (I know how much that’s confused a lot of you and I will continue to laugh at you, sorry not sorry), to our staffing changes both in store and within the driving team, to our good days and bad days on the snappy shopper platform, and to the never ending problems we have with our card terminals 🤣 - from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much ♥️.
It’s been a bit of a mad few months for me personally, and recently I’ve been questioning where I stand in terms of this business, but the last few days and the amount of people who have walked into the store or placed orders with us, while saying nice things about the store and the team or leaving us wonderful reviews on snappy shopper, has reminded me of why I do what I do for work.
So on that note, have a lovely Christmas today and New Year when it comes, and remember I’m working with Annie until whatever time the back pain becomes unbearable for us both this evening 😂
