The Hearach is the first, historic single malt whisky from the island distillery and the Isle of Harris.
Like the iconic Harris Tweed cloth created here for generations, the first historic whisky is woven from the hands of island people and the place they call home, intimately intertwining to produce an elegant spirit of complexity and character.

This special connection between people and place continues to this day with every drop of “The Hearach” created by Isle of Harris hands in the Outer Hebrides.

Their recipe uses spirit matured in ex-bourbon casks, oloroso and fino butts.

700ml / 46% ABV

DISCOVER ISLE OF HARRIS GIN…

THE ISLAND SPIRIT…

Isle of Harris distillers created this first gin offering from their island distillery in a small copper gin still ("The Dotach") which sits alongside her larger whisky-making sisters in the distillery's bright Spirit Hall.

Their key local ingredient is Sugar Kelp seaweed, gathered sustainably by hand from local sea-lochs, as their key botanical to express the island's unique maritime nature.

Sugar Kelp works in harmony with seven other careful chosen botanicals: Juniper, coriander seeds, cubebs, cassia bark, angelica root, bitter orange peel, and liquorice root.

Every bottle Isle of Harris Gin bears a paper seal with the distillery's geographical coordinates to show where it is made, you are guaranteed of a truly Outer Hebridean gin, distilled in the Isle of Harris and nowhere else.

We are now proud to deliver our “Wines & Spirits” in cotton bags specially designed with our logo..

This bags can be reused and it’s environment friendly. This means we can put less plastic in land fill or dump in our oceans..

Eco-Friendly Cloth bags do not contribute to pollution and environmental degradation. Unlike plastic bags, which can take hundreds of years to decompose, cloth bags can be easily recycled or composted. Rooted in centuries of illicit distilling, the Hebridean Isle of Raasay provides the ingredients for the best scotch whisky.

Their signature Isle of Raasay Whisky expression is lightly peated balanced with rich dark fruit flavours. A flavour profile inspired by some older style smoky Hebridean single malt whiskies.

THE PERFECT DRAM

Every drop of spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the island using water from their well, Tobar na Ba Bàine, ‘Well of the Pale Cow’. Maximising the influence of the island on our spirit whilst supporting local jobs.

Mineral-rich Raasay water and long fermentations of up to 118 hours (5 days) develop sweet blackberry characteristics in our spirit before it even touches the oak of the cask.

They carefully crafted Raasay whisky recipe combines six signature casks – maturing peated and unpeated Isle of Raasay spirit separately in ex-Rye Whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine casks. The first of this cask combination in Scotch whisky history.

We the founders, Shivakumar and Kavitha are delighted to announce, the beginning of a new chapter.

As our house “Sathvik Amulyam” a heritage master piece has, completed a decade plus years, demand for antiques, be it pillars or antique doors, is growing but the supply is getting short.

This heritage is mostly getting exported, out of India.

Our primary focus is to identify houses that’s being broken down and salvage valuable antiques from Chettinad area.
Experts will value the antiques, be it wood, stone or metal artifacts.
It shall be valued completely as per market conditions.

From time to time mail shots shall be sent. These antiques will be available on first come first serve.

Season begins with warm welcome…

It’s the season…

Pouring by carefully separating the sediments is an intricate art. Using one of the senses to sniff the wine is very important, as the wine is breathed well, through sniffing you get to understand the complex aromas hidden in the wine that’s just met oxygen. Remember not to leave out too long as oxidation can start killing the fine wine. Oxidation is the process of acetobacter turning wine into vinegar.

Pouring professionally- wine that’s spent years in making painstakingly and barrel aged, also needs attention when decanted and poured. A sign of a good sommelier.
