Season begins with warm welcome…
Pouring by carefully separating the sediments is an intricate art.
Using one of the senses to sniff the wine is very important, as the wine is breathed well, through sniffing you get to understand the complex aromas hidden in the wine that’s just met oxygen.
Remember not to leave out too long as oxidation can start killing the fine wine.
Oxidation is the process of acetobacter turning wine into vinegar.
Pouring professionally- wine that’s spent years in making painstakingly and barrel aged, also needs attention when decanted and poured. A sign of a good sommelier.
